I bought this toy for myself (I'm a big kid at heart) as it looked good fun to assemble, and I liked the idea of a continual marble run. Initially it was all smooth going, until it came to the final stages of putting together the cable marble run and the motorised lift. The leaflet isn't that easy to decipher, plus some of the parts don't fit well together at all. So after an evening of careful patience-testing assembly, I finally set it going before it promptly fell apart. The problem is the motor which lifts the marbles up - the cogs keep falling off the motor axle. It definitely needs glue if you intend to use it for what it's intended.

I bought these ages ago and got bored of them easily. However i've got them out again and i've spent abit more time with them and now i'm apreciating them alot more. I don't spend ages watching them i just get them out about 10 mins before i go to bed or watch them when i'm waiting for the time for me to set off to school but i think you'll need a few more to keep you entertained for hours. Once i get my paper round and i've got enough money i'll buy the one where its a village or if the wages are really good the one wehere they go on holiday and the village. So this is my advice. my daughter was given this for christmas, and loves listening to her mp3 player through it. the lights are calming and very pretty
however I do agree with other reviewers that it is very noisy when it moves, however the foot tapping in time ot music is extremelly cute!
