My son got this for a christmas present and it was put away for some time with dad. Unfortunately the pieces were very hard to get out and some ended up snapping. Then the instructions were very poorly illustrated and once a mistake had been made it was almost impossible to get the wheels etc back off. It turned into a very frustarting time for dad and son and to change the foam washers to change the way the buggy moves requires the same fiddly process which requires two sets of pliers to remove the wheels. Not something that a child of 8 has the strength to do. However, once the buggy was up and running the kids enjoyed playing with it and there was some educational value in the different tensions to change the sped.

This is quite a detailed model for a pre-painted snap kit. Glue is optional, although I did use it to make the kit more secure. Took just over an hour of casual assembly to put it together.

I bought this model with the idea of helping my nephew build it and I have to say I have ended up with mixed feelings.
The Good
The wooden pieces are nicely finished, no splinters; the instruction booklet details all the pieces, so you can quickly tell if anything is missing; the glue included is of good quality and there's plenty of it and it also includes plans to lay out the initial pieces to ensure they are arranged correctly.
The Bad.
Although the design itself is good the actual construction concept is poor. Everything has to be glued together. Not only do you have to wait ages for the glue to dry thoroughly but gluing wood flat to flat is never going to be strong. Why not drill a few more holes and ... Read More:
