This is great value for money. The case and items are sturdy and it contains everything other kids medical cases do. It's not too big or bulky either and is easy to use for little ones. A bargain, my kids love it, although probably best for ages 6 and under?

We bought this for our daughter's 5th birthday along with Princess Liana's partner doll, Alexa. Why 2? simply that the price had almost halved and they sing in tandem so thought we would get both.
The build quality is the usual Barbie doll quality and will withstand medium play. The shoes are awful and do not stay on, the tiara is flimsy, but otherwise pretty good. We have resorted to using blue tack in the shoes to keep them on and much better now! The famous transforming dress: at the back of the doll is a plastic pink "clockwork" type key. You turn the key and the left and right front panels of her dress lift up and swoosh round to reveal the glittey lining panels, creating a new outfit. It is fairly successful, certainly my 5 ... This is a classic gamic which I remember being brilliant from childhood. The theory of it is brilliant, load items until the donkey throws them off but this version is cheap, tacky and it doesn't even buck unless you prod it roughly once all the items are on. The items to load are all very poor quality.
The mechanism to reset the donkey is also difficult to operate. Another game which has been completely ruined by poor production and cost cutting. Don't waste your money on this version. If you have a very young child 'Bounce Bounce Tigger' is much better quality and works slightly better than this game. >>More Details |

Actually we bought this for £1.50 from a charity shop but over the past 2 years it has proved a major hit with the whole family. In contrast to others, our version appears to be reasonably well made and the sticks are both long enough and flexible enough to work perfectly.
The only down side of the game is the time taken to set it up - poking the sticks through the holes. A bit of care and attention pays off here if the marbles are to be retained for as long as possible. We give the kids a section each to fit the stick in and this keeps them amused for several minutes. Marbles falling are accompanied by gales of laughter. I bought this for my friends 8 year old daughter, and she tells me that Tallulah really loves her Tag pen and will not put it down. She uses her books to tell the stories to her younger brother, who sits patiently waiting to use the pen himself. Her brother is 4 so is just at the right age to use the Tag reading system properly, so now he wants the Disney Pixar cars and King Fu panda books for christmas. It is one of the most usseful present I have bought a young child, and I am so glad they are getting educational learning as well as lots of enjoyment and fun with Tag

My daughter loves Top Trumps and is mad about horses. Obviously, this colours my review!
The photos of all the horse breeds are good quality and nicely down with both a mini pic of the whole horse and the large picture mainly of the head. The categories are interesting and pretty accurate although a little subjective in places! The category regarding the horse's relative beauty has caused some fierce debate in our house.. The addition of a unicorn and a pegasus also proved a little contraversial and became coveted cards for our 5 yr old (who wants to be a unicorn when she grows up...) Bought this for my daughter last Christmas and frankly hasn't worked properly since. You can't get rid of the previous drawing. The new drawing line is so thin and faint you have to go over the line a number of times to see it. All in all very disappointing and not at all like the original one I had many years ago.
