The game itself is brilliant and educational. It really helps with childrens reasoning and deduction skills as well as verbal skills for young children. Most games can be won with the question does he or she have facial hair (ie. moustache or beard) though.
The problem with this version of the game is it is far too flimsy and breaks very easily making it totally unplayable. The thin plastic surrounds holding the cards break and the cards fall out. It is so lightweight and poorly constructed that it is difficult for children too keep the right cards up. One small glance sends everything tumbling. I bought this together with the play mat and some other Night Garden items. Its NOT overpriced (after my opinion)You cant expect to get a huuge train with buttons and lights for this price anyway.. I havent passed this one on to my daughter yet (Christmas) but I know for sure she will like it. It wouldve been even better if it was twice as big and optional to open the doors etc like you can do with the Tombliboos Bush.However, its a cute Train thats fitting the price. BUT when thats said, if Hasbro DID make a train that the characters actually can fit into (those who are to come with PlayMat World etc) - and added 20£ to the price Id rather buy that.

Bought this as a present for my cousin's son's christening back at the beginning of the year. An immediate hit with not only the 1 year old being christened but also with his 3 year old sister and cousin, in fact it was a hit with the adults too!
There haven't been any problems with it, and the legs stayed once you put them on it unlike on some of the others that my friends have for their children. All in all good value with the amount of things for the kids to do and for how long it will appeal to them as well as the sturdyness in comparision to other makes. >>More Details |

This item is cheap and plastic. I bought it for my partner as a present as we love scrabble, but was very disappointed with the cheapness when she unpacked it, it's not like it looks in the picture at all. However at the same time, unknowing to me my partner bought me Super-scrabble. Buy Super-Scrabble instead, a very good quality item that's even better than normal scrabble.

Bought this for my 7/8 year old who is mad about space and astronomy, we all think it's absolutely magical. It's very realistic, gives off just the right amount of light and is suitable to play with or just to leave on to go to sleep to. I can think of a few other kids who will be getting these for presents. Just GREAT!
