I usually stick to Rough Guides, Lonely Planet or Dorling Kindersley when buying tourist books but I found this at the local library and decided to buy a copy as it seemed so good. It also made sense to buy a guide written by an American magazine rather than stick with a UK publisher.
I especially liked the easy-to-use maps and plentiful, up-to-date and relevent photos spread throughout. It's coverage of the many and various museums and galleries in DC is excellent. I could see at once which ones suited me.
Overall this is a clear, easy-to-use tome, which is short enough to look things up quickly whilst providing enough detail to be useful.

This restaurant is under new management & is not worthy of a mention in the AA Guide.
Under the previous owners it was excellent.
The current owner can not possibly call himself a chef.
The food we had was awful & the service was just as bad.
How this man has the nerve to advertise "Best Restaurant in Corralejo" as seen in AA World Travel (Beggars Belief) AA travel need to delete this entry now to save more customers an unfortunate experience.
