I used this course to support an evening class and othr self-study courses. I used it mainly for tape listening whilst travelling. I found it very useful (though the American instructions become wearisome after repeated listening). The phrase book looks very useful - though the absence of pinyin may be a pity. It represents very, very good value - when used in tandem with other courses. Text with oodles of characters + generous tape...

Nothing (well, only the "Guia Turistica" beneath the title) in the information given about this guidebook prepares you for a Spanish language guidebook. However, for only $7.16, I'm going to keep it - who knows, maybe I'll learn enough Spanish on my trip to be able to read it someday!
