The films are superb as they are and they are just enhanced with this brilliant box set. A few great things about this set is you get interviews with George Lucas, Steven Spielberg and Harrison at the end of each film, the film quality has been digitally remastered and the sound, and the box that holds all the videos is nice too! So all in all well worth the money for any Indy fan!

This is the collector's edition and I suggest you get it while you can, as they only sold them up til Christmas Eve of '97, which should make them quite valuable! And I know because I almost wasn't able to grab one, so get one off Amazon now, keep it for a few years and hope it becomes more valuable in a few years!!

What an utter surprise. I expected a dated sci fi flick that had not stood the test of time but I was wrong. This is an exceedingly moving and thought provoking film. It is also the first film in a long time that moved me to tears (anyone who has watched it will know which part I am referring to). It is utterly compelling. Much of the style and imagery may seem familiar at first, until you realise it is because it has been copied by more recent sci fi films. Watch this, it is an original.

Harrison Ford (Star Wars) reprises his role as the sophisticated archaeologist Indiana Jones in Steven Spielberg's action adventure.
Indiana Jones is ordered to go and collect a sacred stone from a mysterious temple and is accompanied by Willie Scott (Capshaw) and Short Round (Ke Quan).
Filled with brilliant action sequences, sharp characters and exciting settings the second film of the Indiana Jones series is a brilliant action adventure, justifying the genre beautifully.
Ford portrays the hero brilliantly with a sharp and intelligent wit, his nerve under pressure and more so for his lines. Indiana Jones is one of my favourite characters of all time because of these qualities.
What seems as if it were "in a galaxy... far far away", I first viewed Star War IV at the theater. I own the VHS Trilogy, which is very good, but it can not compare to the newly released DVD 4-Disc WideScreen. There are many added scenes, highly digitilized video and sound and a wonderful "new" ending to StarWars VI. So much so, it brought a warm tear. George Lucas, the genious he is, thought ahead. I can and will recommend this Trilogy for the old fans and for the new ones, as well.

As if mirroring the original trilogy of Star Wars films CBS Fox Video released a trilogy of behind the scenes making videos for each film. “The Making Of Star Wars”, “From Star Wars To Jedi – The Making Of A Saga” and “Classic Creatures: Return Of The Jedi”.
Each of the series were hosted my cast members and were originally broadcast on US television. They make very interesting viewing for any avid Star Wars fan. Although the content of the videos makes for interesting viewing it appears that CBS Fox have allowed a work placement student to do the editing.
Having bought my copies from a reputable high street shop in the 80’s I was surprised that it was so blatantly a TV program released on video tape, ... Read More:

The search for famous lost treasure is something that really gets people excited. If you combine that with gunfights, chase scenes through the desert, mysterious underground vaults, a legendary director and an iconic bullwhip, then you have all the ingredients for capturing the imagination of generations to come.
Harrison Ford really nails the role of protagonist Dr. Jones, with his quirky humour, charismatic presence and sense of adventure instantly capturing the attention of the viewer. His charming performance made him an idol for millions of kids (and I suspect a large number of adults too).
Thrown into the mix is a suitably sinister villain, Rene Belloq (Paul Freeman) out to thwart our hero at every turn. The stunts in the film are incredible; ... Read More:

Everybody can remember the original 1977 Star Wars, and this is it, but made a lot better! For Star Wars' 20th Anniversary, George Lucas has digitally remastered it, changed it and made the sound quality better and made it look a lot more realistic with all the CGI they have added. A great film made greater. I own it, and I think you should buy it. It adds to an already great film collection.

Fighting against all the odds is what this film is all about (not wanting to reveal too much detail) there is a lot of comedy and the plot does dovetail the way an American producer would want but it is still outstanding.
