Before I begin, I'd just like to clarify that this is the third Aladdin film. It was always Disney's intentions to have an Aladdin trilogy - there are NOT five films!
In this third outing Aladdin and Jasmine finally get married only to be disrupted by the forty thieves who's leader just so happens to be Aladdin's father...
I thought the story of this film was very good and the humour is just fantastic (provided by the genie in Robin Williams naturally). Unlike other Disney sequels all of the original voice cast return. Some new characters are established also, rather than having to rely on old villains. These are most notably the forty thieves who are just hilarious.
In this sequel to Disney's Aladdin, the young 'street-rat' and his friends, Abu, Jasmine, Rajah and Sultan (not forgetting Genie) are back and battling against the evil Jafar. He has returned as an all-powerful genie (as we all remember from the original) and out for revenge. The graphics and animation may not be as good as in the first film, and Dan Castellaneta is no substitute for Robin Williams, but this is a worthy sequel. Actually, Castellaneta's effort is praiseworthy. I personally love it for the way it handles the complex character of Iago and emphasises the importance of morals and friendship - and courage. I can recommend this film for anyone who truly appreciates this kind of story.

Aladdin is an entirely different spin on the fairy tale genre mainly focusing on the hero rather than the heroine perspective.
Genie(Robin Williams)steals the film as Disneys' most fabulous and hilarious creation ever!!!
a very remarkable film that matches the likes of The Lion king, The Little Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty and Beauty & The Beast.
it is visually stunning and is full of pop culture references throughout.
and to top it all off...it was released on the year i was born.
Aladdin is a masterpiece!

A young woman, Blanche (the lovely Emmanuelle Chaulet), works in the City Hall of a trendy New Town near Paris (somewhat to his discredit, Rohmer's films always occurs in middle class and upper middle class milieus, never in working class neighborhoods or in the immigrants building projects). Having recently arrived there, Blanche lives quite a lonely life, until she becomes friends with another young woman, Lea (Sophie Renoir), through which she met her boyfriend Fabien (Eric Viellard), and an acquaintance of the couple, Alexandre (François-Eric Gendron). Basically, the movie follows the time honored plot of exchange of relationships. A is with B, and C with D, but then A will start a liaison with D, which will make C jealous, and would start going with B in revenge and so forth. ... Read More:
