The Lion King...deep,moving,inspirational,and beautiful...not to mention hilarious too.
artistic and wonderful...an aweinspiring Disney classic. my #1 favourite Disney film of all time. the songs range from hilarious to moving. the artwork is at its very,very best and shows the sheer beauty of Africa...and the animals of the wild look so very realistic. its an incredible masterpiece of a film...and demands more than 100 viewings. a sheer beautiful class act from the Disney studios...and by far the most breathtaking film i have ever seen. seriously. >>More Details |

Widely considered Sam Peckinpah's least effort (in fact James Coburn directed most of this childish nonsense while Peckinpah refused to leave his trailer on set as he was boozing and taking drugs and hooked up to a vitamin intravenous drip), Convoy is nonetheless more creative and entertaining than most of today's action/comedy films. The film's major drawback is that it has none of the usual Peckinpah characters and themes that stick in the viewers mind. The whole film appears as if Peckinpah were simply going through the motions; or appears as if he wasn't on set.

why is this STILL not available on dvd?? i have roots and roots the next generation,and i already have queen on vhs,its just a shame its not on dvd so i can finish my collection properly.

- Golden Child? Great - Dr Doolittle(s)? No probs - Daddy Day Care? Good - 48 Hours and BHills Cop aren't my cup-of-tea but are classic Murphy. - COMING TO AMERICA is the best! - NORBIT is far and away the closest to 'Donkey' that Eddie Murphy has come to (and that says something considering he voiced 'Donkey' in the Shrek films which were great!) If you like Eddie Murphy, watch Coming To America again - do not watch Norbit! And if you're reading this after watching Murphy in Norbit and liked it (shudder!) then don't watch this because it is a completely different actor!!! >>More Details |
