The Lion King is my all time favourite disney film, i just love the story the music and the way it all comes together. I have watched this film countless times and still want to watch it again. The newer disney films are in comparison rubbish to the lion king its such a big hit,so gripping and i have looked in countless shops for it and to no luck. There are a million and one copies of 101 dalmations,Aladdin but no Lion King because no1 wants to part with it, its a Quality film that i will love forever.

I've always been reluctant of sequels especially the Disney ones. They've never sounded as good.
However we recieved this second hand and my sister decided to watch it..Out of interest once reading the case I decided to sit and watch through it and I was surprised to find it was not as bad as I thought it might.
I do love follow up stories, if they are done properly and this was done very well. An enjoyable follow up to the original and sounds better than the third and some of Disney's latest work. I love story by all accounts, which means it treads the same lines but the history and the consequences of that history is what makes it worthwhile, as is Timon and Pumba who are still as funny if not moreso.
Before I say anything else, I'll say that I enjoyed this 'midquel.' In fact, I think that The Lion King 1 and 1/2 (or 3) should have gone theatrical. It's sweet, funny and the animation is downright gorgeous. Timon and Pumbaa are two of my favourite characters and I can never get enough of them.
But something's missing. It's that nostalgic feel I get when I watch the first two, especially Simba's Pride. It's simply not there. And it's because this was not part of my childhood like the first films were. I have no fond memories of it, since when it came out, I thought I was too old for 'a baby movie like The Lion King,' and so I didn't care for it. It's only when I realised that The Lion King was more than just a mere 'kids movie' was when ... Read More:

I've loved the original Lion King film since I was a young girl and recently saw the sequel to it. I was expecting it to be a disappointment, but it wasn't at all. It wasn't as good as the first one as that would be impossible, but it was the nearest you can get to it. Most of the same characters return and the story follows Kiara, Simba's daughter and heir to the throne, who falls for Kovu, the lion picked to take scar's place and kill Simba. A great film, if you loved the first one you'll like this.

This is a truly brilliant film.
Robert Downey Jr shows in this film just what an amazing actor he is. This film is beautifully acted by all who star in it. This is a film that takes you on a very moving story of Charlie Chaplin's journey from rags to riches. All of Charlie's good times and bad are portrayed perfectly by Robert, he has such talent.
This film is definetly a must see!!!!

Pure genius, thats what it is. Fire walk with me is a must for any David Lynch fan. It uncovers the darker side of Twin Peaks and Laura Palmers life. It is set before the television show and the feature length movie. If you have not seen the series or the movie then fire walk with me may be a little confusing at the start. Its main focus is on the activities involving Laura Palmer, her friends and family and the midgit in the red suit. It shows you what happens in the last seven days of Lauras life and eventually who kills her. There are a few moments that are creepy and Davis Lynch has used these to create an atmosphere that makes you want to keep watching. It answers alot of the questions that the series and film make you ask, and gives a wider insight to Bob, ... Read More:
