piece of comedy and factual at that! It's just a pity that todays proffesionals don't have to go through what these lads did just to play the game! Wonderful stuff.

Second video spin off special of Coronation Street which is better than the first which was set on a cruise but at the same time is silly and over the top. However its entertaining stuff as you see different sides to Jack, Vera (the streets funniest couple) and Fiona and Maxine. Comedy plays an integral part to this spin off and at times its crazy antics come across like a modern day Carry On film but fans will lap this up as it is fun to see four great characters away from the street. A watchable video that has some funny moments.

I seem to remember having enjoyed seeing this at the cinema (when it was new). Not only that, but I recall choosing to listen to the soundtrack album. (I never owned a copy of it, though, putting my money where my mouth was didn't go beyond buying a cinema ticket.) Now, I find it impossible to imagine how I could have enjoyed either the film or its soundtrack.
The few good songs are more than counter-balanced by the ones that make me cringe (or worse). Can anyone now listen to "Don't Bogart that Joint" without feeling uncomfortable (at the very least)?
It's not just the soundtrack... For another thing, I now find that the film contains no sympathetic characters other, perhaps, than the person wielding the gun at ... Read More:

I would rate this film as one of the best vampire flicks ever. The prison scene is incredible, you can actually see and feel the fear in the poor blokes eyes. Whether it is the TV or full version this is definitely one to have in your horror film collection. Don't watch this one alone and without curtains on your windows......you never know what might come knocking.

One of the funniest movies movies I have ever seen, good old fashioned clean fun. I highly recommend watching this movie, even if you are not a fan of classic cinema. Look out for the tea cup and the dog biscuits, both have many people in tears from laughing so much.

Interesting story, fun run-around, good to see the brig and sarah re-united, and victoria is great! Debbie Watling really excels as the older Victoria, and is given a lot better than she did in the series. Anyway. Maybe its just me.

This edition is technically not great. The DVD mastering is quite awful and is very grainy indeed. However....
This is so good. Having admired David Lean's rather compressed version of Dickens' superb novel for many years and having endured the complete annihilation of the said novel in the abhorrent farrago starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Ethan Hawke, it is an absolute joy to witness the sheer quality of realisation in this production. It vastly outclasses the other productions on every level although the Lean has great nostalgic charm and appeal. Relatively faithful to the novel, this is profoundly engaging. The acting is superb.Charlotte Rampling inhabits the character of Miss Havisham at a stellar level, evoking a sympathetic response to the personal ... Read More:

The Sontarans are a race of time travelling warriors, who are the original yobs of the Galaxy who like nothing more than a good ruck. In this two-parter the Sontaran is called Styre.
This is the third outing for Tom Baker and the second time round for the Sontarans, and it is written by Bob Baker and Dave Martin. It is set on Earth sometime in the far future, where what was once London, is now a bleak and barren landscape of hills and mountains (this was shot on Dartmoor). The Doctor, Sarah and Harry arrive here, where they come across a small group of humans who are getting captured and then used for sadistic experiments by Styre - the Sontaran. It's enough to put you off fell walking for life! This is a highly enjoyable adventure that has a panoramic feel/quality ... Read More:
