Well this is Definitely a must buy if you enjoy the dark years of the WWF (WWE) The PPV has a whole array of great superstars on the card. My two Favourite matches are as follows. The Boiler room brawl which features Mankind and The Big Show. Its a great laugh from start with a broom, to finish with alot of poles! The Second fight is the bout between Hardcore Holly and Al snow. This fight contained some really funny spots including a referee conducting the three count in a skip full of rubbish....ahem. Theis PPV also features, Stonecold Vs The Rock. The undertaker Vs Ken Shamrock, The Brood Vs The Acolytes and Midian. New Age Outlaws Vs Owen Hart and Jeff Jarrett and X-Pac Vs HHH. A really good addition to your 1999 video libary.

Andy.

The unlikely highlight of the video is Super Crazy vs Little Guido. It is fast paced with lots of reversals and so many near falls, that make this match every bit exciting as it is unpredictable. They may be 2 wrestlers that many fans are unfamiliar with, but I can assure you they put on a very entertaining match.

The Dudley Boyz vs Spike and Balls Mahoney is a falls count anywhere street fight, and is chaotic, as you would expect. But the match is delayed by the Dudley Boyz coming out and talking trash to the crowd, and although it is not un amusing it is drawn out far too long, and you feel it is a waste of time as another match could have been on instead. But when they do eventually get down to wrestling it is a fairly good hardcore match. ... Read More:

WWF - Unforgiven

A stunning ppv, with a quatlity final match for the wwf championship belt. Six superstars battle it out to become number one, the rock, mankind, british bulldog, kane, big show and triple h. Stone cold features as the enforcer and at the end gets into the action with a stunner. All the other matches are relatively good with the tag team championship match being pick of the crop. The only dissapointment with this ppv is the kennel from hell match. The idea is tremendous but unfortunately it is not done justice with only four dogs, all of which are on leads. They spend all their time fighting each other and pay no attention to the wrestlers. Having said this I think unforgiven is one of the best ppv's I own.

The video lasts eighty minutes, split between the 1966 and 1970 Tournaments. The footage is excellent, just straight forward camera angles with no annoying 1930`s style shots of the crowd. You get the picture. Introduced by the dulcet tones of Sky`s Richard Keys, the action is brilliant, black and white for the first part colour for the second. There IS German commentary for the Mexico v Italy Quarter-Final but I have only ever heard it in that language and besides, it`s a great language. I have that game on dvd and it is in German. Beckenbauer, Hurst, Eusebio, Moore, Muller, Cubilas, Riva, Charlton, Rivera, Rivelino and of course Pele. Fantastic stuff.

WWF - In Your House 25 - Judgment Day [1998]

WWF Judgement Day was the show where Mr Mcmahon promised that he would "fire" Steve Austin if he failed to deliver a winner in the WWF title match between The Undertaker and Kane. But despite this stipulation, the event isn't one of the WWF's better efforts. The first match between Al Snow and Marc Mero is a great opener,Christian vs Taka for the Light Heavyweight belt is the best match of the night and LOD 2000 manage to have a decent six-man tag.

But then the show begins to suffer. Goldust has an overlong and boring clash with Val Venis over the affections of Terri Runnels. The Tag-Team Title match has a cheap finish, and the conclusion of Mankind's match with Ken Shamrock is just ridiculous. The remaining matches are fine, but the ... Read More:

Lord of the Wing - the true story of the greatest entertainer the world of football has EVER seen.

From the 'Jungle' at Parkhead to the sun-kissed terraces of Lisbon, Jimmy Johnstone was a God with a leather football at his feet. Mesmerising twists and turns left the game's greatest defenders close to tears.....and Celtic fans laughing in wonderment.

But true geniuses inevitably follow a chequered path off-the-field and Jinky was no exception. Alcoholism came close to destroying his career and, almost, his life.

But for millions of Celtic supporters and genuine football fanatics, the lasting memory of Jimmy Johnstone is of his incredible skills as he destroyed Red Star Belgrade, Real Madrid, Rangers and many, many more.
