1982 was a year of superb close action racing, of ground effect and of terrible tradegy. Its nice to know that formula one today is so much safer, that aside I dont believe modern formula one gives you the overtaking or race action that you had from this period. I love seeing the legends of Lauda, Prost and Piquet not to mention Mansell, Pironi and Rosberg (the Champion) all battling wheel to wheel. You could never predict a race win back then, no launch control at the start line killing all the fun at the start, no pit lane speed limits, no 10 place driver penalties, and backmarkers that had to be overtaken with skill not flagged out of the way. Bring back this kind of racing and keep todays safety. Anyone agree?
Oh and I love Clive James's ... Read More:

After a great WrestleMania how will the aftermath affect all the matches and the competitors in something that will be a night to remember.
Tag Team Title Match Edge and Christian vs Road Dogg and X-Pac 5/10 A good tag team match, started of a bit slow and the crowd were really into this match. This had lots of near falls but it was nothing spectacular.
Light Heavyweight Title Match Dean Malenko vs Scotty 2 Hotty 6/10 A nice match by some good lightweight competitors, the only thing about this match is that is went on a bit too long.
Big Boss Man and Bull Buchanan vs The Acolytes 4/10 Slow and boring, nothing else to say.

This is the best of the F1 reviews from the 80's, in my opinion. The racing and footage are excellent, especially those moments of sublime thuggery from the fantastic Keke Rosberg, and the season reached a terrific climax with Prost, Tambay, Arnoux and Piquet all in the running almost to the end. However, the thing that makes it stand out is the commentary. Rather than overdubbing in the past tense, and telling you -infuriatingly - what you are about to see moments before you see it, as on the other videos, on this one the commentator talks in the present tense, with the excitement of a live broadcast. Screams of 'Get out of the car, Nelson,' as Piquet parks up his flaming Brabham add greatly to the watching experience. On the downside, there is, ... Read More:

Hoop dreams is a fantastic, inspirational sometimes heartbreaking documentary about two very different boys who dream of being NBA players.
It is one of the best films i have ever seen. It's a bit like 'Coach Carter' mixed with 'The pursuit of Happyness' but it's much better than both true life movies, filled with warts and all.
I would recommend this film to everyone especially teenage boys wanting a career in professional sports but it certainly does appeal to adults too.
The boys in the movie went through everything from Injuries, personal family problems, disappointment, and the pressure of choosing the right university/college and they came out the other end stronger and more determined to make their dreams come true.

When Super League first hit our screens five years ago, the game of rugby league had never seen anything like it. Loud music, fireworks, pre match entertainment, video referees and more significantly summer rugby. Many traditionalists found the changes hard, but many believed this was the start of something big for a game that was struggling to survive financially. Super League was all about making rugby league a family sport while spreading the game to new areas. The first season saw a team in Paris and London enter the league, previously un-chartered territory for rugby league, who where joined by more traditional clubs in Lancashire, Cumbria and Yorkshire. From the opening game in Paris which saw a historic win for Paris St Germain right through to the championship ... Read More:
