This was the first of the FOCA reviews, and it shows. Running for a little under 90 minutes, it is unfortunate that almost a third of that time is used up on a very repetitive introduction that really involves little more than close up shots of the likes of Piquet, Jones et al, none of whom could exactly be classed as pin-ups. However, once the action gets under way, it is all good, focussing on a very exciting and close season with 5 drivers chasing the title almost to the wire. This is a great video of what is now naval history. The dedication and fitness of these men is inspiring, no flashy gym or modern sports kit just blood, sweat and a few tears from the ones who did not make the crew.

Something of a cult film, if you're into surfing then I'm sure this is a great way to fill the time whilst you wait for some decent waves, but other than that, its kind of forgettable. Keanu Reeves' acting is as wooden as it gets - watch out Pinocchio! The soundtrack is much better than the film.

I am surprised that so many people rate this video so highly!? I was very disappointed when I saw it for the first time, because I thought it would be far more interesting and I didn't expect so much of the interviews to be in Brazilian! There are not that many F1 highlights on it and the commentary is fairly bland in my opinion. It is OK if you love Senna, but for a modern day f1 fan like myself there is nothing gripping about it! >>More Details |
