I don't know what age audience the film makers were targeting but I imagine 13 to 18 would find it enjoyable, or if you have not read the book. If you have you will find it a very disappointing adaptation. I suppose some changes to the story line are inevitable if one only has 100 minutes to deliver over 240 pages of complex writing, but none of those changes enhanced enjoyment of the novel for me. The acting was so-so, over aggressive Tara Fitzgerald wearing one sultry expression from start to finish, and Anthony Delon delivering slightly over the top "Frenchness". Which is a shame....I came across the novel whilst on holiday in Cornwall (but of course!), and being a fan of du Maurier's work I thought I'd give it a go one afternoon and I could ... Read More:

This is a fine collection of "the best of the Two Ronnies", although such claims of the best are purely subjective on whoever decides which sketches are to feature, so what the compilers deem to be the best you may disagree entirely
For example, I'm not a fan of (let alone understand some parts of) the 'Cinema Commissionaire' sketch on this video, nor did I find the Barber's Shop Melody particularly interesting when there's surely funnier material in the archive. The highlight in my opinion was 'The Optician's Sketch' but you'll have to see it to know what goes on... :)
The famous Ronnie Corbett complete with chair that looks fit to collapse at any moment also features on here although not the best monologue of them all, I have to say. ... Read More:

Second video spin off special of Coronation Street which is better than the first which was set on a cruise but at the same time is silly and over the top. However its entertaining stuff as you see different sides to Jack, Vera (the streets funniest couple) and Fiona and Maxine. Comedy plays an integral part to this spin off and at times its crazy antics come across like a modern day Carry On film but fans will lap this up as it is fun to see four great characters away from the street. A watchable video that has some funny moments.

This video was extremely entertaining. The wry observations on life will strike a chord with the 40+ age group and older, and in particular with parents of teenagers. I laughed so much that my eyes streamed. It is a pity that there are so few videos of this very funny man. Even my teenage daughter was amused. The compilations, which include sketches, are in my opinion not nearly as good.

Crapston is a corner of London blisfully unaware of re-generation and the gentrifying influence of hordes of web designers, as a result it it left to a colourfull bunch of inhabitants which would cause any social workers watching to break out into a cold sweat. Crapston is an excellent example of social parody and is uniquely British, coming from the team behind spitting image setting it apart from similar comedy offerings from across the pond. It is sad that Crapston was so short lived and like the colourfull neighbourhood it depicts is now a thing of the past but for those in the know it is a hidden gem, get there before the web designers do!

The Sontarans are a race of time travelling warriors, who are the original yobs of the Galaxy who like nothing more than a good ruck. In this two-parter the Sontaran is called Styre.
This is the third outing for Tom Baker and the second time round for the Sontarans, and it is written by Bob Baker and Dave Martin. It is set on Earth sometime in the far future, where what was once London, is now a bleak and barren landscape of hills and mountains (this was shot on Dartmoor). The Doctor, Sarah and Harry arrive here, where they come across a small group of humans who are getting captured and then used for sadistic experiments by Styre - the Sontaran. It's enough to put you off fell walking for life! This is a highly enjoyable adventure that has a panoramic ... Read More:
