I have to say I am disappointed with this selection. There was so many good monologues and sketches that could have been chosen for a tape which were passed by that it's sad that we are left with just the cynical, bitter and profane moments from Dave Allen's shows. Even most of the monologues weren't as good as what we have recently been seeing on the BBC in England from the 1971 series. Did Dave Allen really MEAN all the stuff he came out with on these particular segments? I contrast this with what he was like in the early days when he came over as rather sweet and innocent (ok well, perhaps not that innocent!) but certainly CHARMING(with the hidden naughtiness) we all knew was there. The Truman Show is consistantly clever, creative and funny. It's a film which everyone will enjoy as it has emotional moments, but ofcourse funny moments also. Jim Carrey really is at his best in this brilliant film.

There are so many bad formats of mr.Bean withhodd sodds, give them to charity shops and buy the complete mr.bean vol.1+2. Or you could go for the whole bean on dvd, but that has some small bits missing. The best way to getthe whole collection is gettin ths and ol.1 though.

This film was a childhood favourite for me. When mentioning the film to others, most people would say that they haven't had the chance to see it and have never even heard of it, which i feel is a great shame. It has some great actors and is a really good story line. When buying this film i wasn't sure if i would be spoiling the illusion that i had of it from when i was a child, but i was very pleased to find that i still enjoyed it as much as i did when i was a child, and have watched it many times since. Give it a go, you won't regret it.

6 Man Tag-Team Match Dudley Boyz (Bubba Ray Dudley, D-Von Dudley and Spike Dudley) vs. X-Factor (X-Pac, Justin Credible and Albert) A good idea to have a 6-Man Tag as the opener, actually a pretty good match but would've expected a bit more from these two teams. This one's easy to forget about since there are more great matches to come. 7/10 Hardcore Championship Rhyno (champ) vs. Raven Exactly the way hardcore matches should be. A fantastic contest from the two former ECW-ers, these guys know all about matches like this. This one must have slipped in under Disney's radar. It's genuinely touching and it portrays family, racial and environmental concerns in a way that is sensitive, funny and well scripted. The latter is first class, with drama, humour and pathos expertly interleaved. For once, a non-American (the Grand Council woman) is in the right and in authority. The Hawaian women are similarly against Disney heroine stereotype, having a small bust and big hips.
It is entirely to the script writer's credit that many of the quotes have slipped into our family vernacular e.g. "... disciplined ... five times a day ... with bricks ... in a pillow case ..." usually with a different family member delivering the various phrases just like something out of, heaven help us, Seinfeld or The ... Three blind mice, it sings over the credits, after the now-familiar gun-barrel opening shot. These are three blind men, or so it seems, tragically comical as they make their way along; but, we're in for a rude awakening - they are actually ruthless assassins. If you do not have the time of a supermodel, who can put an hour and 40 minutes away every other day to tone her entire body, you might like to try a shorter toning video.
Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with the toning moves here. You work your abs, your upper body, your behind and your lower body very thoroughly. The scenery is beautiful, and I love Kathy Kaehler's soothing voice and professional instruction. Claudia is ok, but her form doesn't look very good when she performs the excercises. And her occasional comments seem rehearsed and ackward. And as this is only a toning video you would have to put away even more time for cardio.
