First time i saw this movie i was about 6 or 7 years old and it became one of my favorite cartoons. Then i watched it last night (Im 24 now) and it was more intresting than the first time. I think Alice in Wonderland is a pure acid trip story, check the colors, voices, the worm with the bong and that mushroom (Magic mushroom maybe) she ate that made her big and small ??????? and also that weird cat. This movie is made in a way that makes any one who watches it love it.

If I'm commenting on the film I would have to say it's wonderful. I've always loved it, probably because of the music, scenery and it's a perfect way to spend a couple of hours. If I'm commenting on the product, it was so annoying to have an intermission in the middle. What's the thinking behind that? It may not bother most people but it really irritated me. If I'd wanted a break I would pause it when I wanted. I sold my DVD and will probably buy a video. That's the only reason for the low score.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang [1968] 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' is my second favourite after 'The Wizard Of Oz'. 'Chitty' stars Dick Van Dyke, Sally Ann Howes, Lionel Jeffries, James Robertson Justice and Robert Helpmann. Though this release onto DVD is the Full Screen version of this film i personally prefere it due to the fact this is a wonderful transfere to Disc, with it's lovely deep colours and so beautifully restored it looks like a modern film. Dick Van Dyke is superb as the children's father who rescues a vintage racing car from a junk yard and gets the car working again. He decides the car should be called 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' and he tells his children a story of how the car is magic and able to float and fly. Everything is so wonderful about this film, ... Easily the best Christmas movie for kids growing up in the eighties and nineties, and deserves to be mentioned along side the classics from previous decades. It is no small feat that this has already become for many, traditional Christmas viewing, given that it is still a fairly recent film, at least in comparison to The Snowman, It's A Wonderful Life, Santa Claus The Movie etc. For kids, the movie has everything- action, excitement, humour, and for everyone else the story and acting are engaging.
The idea of being left Home Alone for a while, especially after your relatives have been so annoying, will appeal to kids as they will have peace to do anything they want and let their imaginations fly. Cue lots of ice cream and sled rides down stairs. The film shows ... Read More:

Not particularly for Lethal Weapon fans but a lovely gentle unfolding of a gentle story. It begins in a damp depressing London and end up in beautiful Italy. People, as well as the scenery are transformed and the memorable performances of Polly Walker and Miranda Richardson make for a memorable cinamatic experience. Buy the movie, you'll want to watch it more than once (or twice!).

And now Saban have decided to (abysmally) computer animate their rubbish. I weep for the original '95 movie, as none of these badly acted, cheaply made sequels have cone CLOSE to doing it justice, or even keep facts intact from the original. A thetrical big-budget release following the original big-screener (the 1996 movie TV series was very well done and thoughroughly enjoyable - we want that released in it's entirety on videos! The Bumper Specials aren't enough!) could have worked, but now these are being land-before-timed. Coming out in force and each one getting worse and worse...So sad.

Regarded by many as the best Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, it still manages to pack a punch after all these years. Most people will probably already be familiar with the hymn-like standard 'You'll Never Walk Alone', but there are plenty of other gems here that are worth tuning in for. Fans of Frank Sinatra may recognise Billy's 'Soliloquy'. The scene on the beach where Gordon McRae belts it out is now a movie musicals' classic. My personal favourite is the beautifully tender duet 'If I Loved You', a song so loaded with the promise of romance and deeply felt regret all at the same time - surely (or Shirley??) one of the best love songs in any Broadway repertoire.
Another of the musical's high points comes with the opening 'Carousel Waltz' itself, an instrumental piece that ... Read More:

The wealthy Duttons, who appear to have everything, take in a young orphan girl, Molly (Keshia Knight-Pulliam from 'The Cosby Show'), at Christmas. The non-conformist teenage son finds her selling matches on the street, and brings her home. Although, outwardly, they appear to be almost perfect, the Duttons have family conflicts and also, through a cruel scheme, are blamed for forcing immigrants to move out of Dutton-owned tennant buildings. It becomes up to Molly to bring the family back together. This charming film is suitable for everyone in the family, and is especially good for Christmas viewing. It really is very sweet, with actors such as Rue McClanahan (The Golden Girls), William Daniels (Boy Meets World), and of course Keshia Knight-Pulliam (The Cosby Show) as the little match ...
