I loved this series. I feel that it's all about the end of an era of Buffy and Buffyverse. If I could have the Buffster back I would. Unfortunately, I will have to settle for the collection instead.

Bright and cheery wartime comedy, in which the boisterous lads of St Michaels are evacuated to a remote castle on the Isle Of Skye. Of course the place is haunted (and being Scotland, it naturally has to be a phantom piper whose appearance foretells doom to any who hear him), but it also comes complete with a Nazi spying ring. Will Hay is on top bumbling form as science teacher Mr Lamb, who gets Isaac Newton confused with William Tell, and he gets able support from a young and exuberant Charles Hawtrey, and John Laurie doing his wild-eyed mad Scotsman routine. Fast-paced, and quite atmospheric in its gothic Scottish castle setting. Nothing creaky about this comedy.

Such an extraordinary cast, great level of performance and rough but tasty load of scottish humour. I have seen so many positive reviews of this series - it seems insane this great piece of ententainment isn't available on DVD. I'd buy it instantly.

A fantastic get together of three legends, Frank, Liza & Sammy. See Sammy do Michael Jackson as never before seen. The show is in three segments, then with all three on stage, they weave in and out of songs, taking the spotlight in turn yet never upstaging each other. The grand finale is ''New York, New York'',which leaves the audience breathless.
We had this on video when I was a child and I watched it so many times that the tape got worn out and I couldn't anymore. I was heartbroken! and also very glad to see it now available on DVD!
I'm surprised no-one's mentioned Archimedes yet - he and Merlin vie for best character in my opinion. A fluffy, pompous, talking owl! Quote:
'Archimedes - you saved my life!'
*looks grumpy* 'Pf pf pf pf pf, I was going to eat you.'

101 Dalmations is based on the book brought out some time ago about an evil villain stealing away innocent dalmation puppies to try and create the ultimate pet outfit made of fur. This film is another brilliant Walt Disney classic full of imagination and adventure. It is truly fantastic with riveting animation and fabulous songs, brought to you by Walt Disney. I have had this movie on Video for ages and have wanted the DVD, unfortunatly my only option was to buy the US version, which I have now done. This movie is one of my must sees, a very moving film, which all my friends hadnt seen before and have loved. As to the previous reviews if the book is even better, I will go and buy.
