Wow! This is the best PS2 Game ever!
When I first played the game I was rubbish but now I have the postions memorised so I can play really well on Easy. The guitar is light and a reasonable size so it is easy to learn. The gameplay involves looking at the screen and pressing the right buttons, for example a green circle means you press the green button. So it's very basic. The graphics are pretty good, 3D and fast. The clothes for the people are a bit wierd but I like them. I was expecting all the people to be male but to my pleasant surprise there are quite a few girls. Guitar Hero 3 is a brilliant game. Not as good as Rock Band but a great game. Beware though there is a major design fault with the guitar. After a while the two piece guitar will become loose. You'll notice when you keep missing notes that you know you're hitting perfect. Wiggle the neck and you'll start hitting them again. You can find help on the net to fix the problem, mainly by taking the neck of the guitar apart. I found a piece of cardboard jammed in the the neck also works. Everyone I know has this problem. It becomes more noticable when you go from medium to hard. From what I can tell the wii version doesn't have this problem due to the guitar being one piece.

Yes it's cheaper in the US. It's too big to import so I'm afraid I bit the bullet and I bought one-and it's fab, it's the most fun I've had with my 360 . Buy an extra guitar for the bass parts and you have a 4 piece.

This game is simply amazing. In my view much better than Guitar Hero. Why?
The amount of content available for download is outstanding, they release at least 3 new songs every week and throw in an album every now and then. Plus the tracks are cheaper than Guitar Hero tracks (and you're getting 4x you're moneys worth due to the amount of instruments). The gameplay is better, everything you wish Guitar Hero did back in the day Rock Band does and so much more; for instance the goofy circular dome things that represent notes in Guitar Hero are replace with sleaker and more precise bar. My 9 year old daughter thinks this is the best game ever. I don't know how she knows - she can't get it away from her 16 and 17 year old brothers, not to mention just about everyone else who comes to visit. This really is enormous fun: the adults can compete with the kids, the kids get to sing along with their favourite tunes, and the grown-ups get to be pop stars too!!!

This kareoke format for the playstation must be very good. It is the very first time i have ever used a playstation willingly and also i am finally learing how the controller works. The songs are good some are great, I hope that there will be more songs coming to practice with. I'll bet my kids wished this game was out when they were younger, i even bought a playstation to play again!

i have most of the singstar games, and out of all of them, this was probably my favourite...even though I'm 13 and wasn't even born in the eighties! i know most of the songs, as they are the sort of songs that are often played in movies, at discos, played in my house etc. Some of the most well known include Tainted Love, Eye of The Tiger, Atomic, Wake Me Up (before you go-go)... you can play with friends or by yourself, meaning there is nowhere to hide! So come on, buy Singstar 80s and get singing!

this game is ace, my boyfriend bought it me because i love both films and im always singing the songs like 'i dont dance'. I gave it a go and i was on it all day! my boyfriend had to refill my glass of water for me a few times though because i was singing my heart out. The duets are soo cool. you can have 8 people in your singing party to sing along with you. also if you and someone else are singing duets and your friends are waiting for their turn on the mics, they can fiddle with stuff thats on your stage. they can change instruments and all sorts. (you have to see it to understand)

Everytime I use this I have such a laugh, there are so many different types of songs for all ages. You can play yourself back and listen to all those golden notes, if they weren't so golden you can mess around with pitch and distortion hehe. It's brilliant for a party and it's brilliant with just the family. I've danced whilst I'm singing and if the eye toy os plugged in it's a music video. I love battling against my mates see who got a higher score, I recommend it to anyone who loves having fun :D

I suspect the developers had a foot each in two doors during the making of 'Art of Murder: FBI Confidential'. On the one hand the game attempts a light hearted approach to the murder mystery genre by the likes of 'Broken Sword: Knights Templar', with its low graphic violent content, little to no swearing, friendly heroine and more adventurous locations, yet at the same time, the visuals and the subject matter give the feeling they were after a more mature route to that of 'Still Life' and 'Gabriel Knight' also.
