I have read the other reviews on here and note the points made but i have got to say are you taking it to seriously? My family have had this game two weeks now and we are still playing it. So, why have i given it five stars? Its the simplicity and ease of the game for everyone that makes it so enjoyable. No one has any musical talent in our family (No one can read music or play an instrument!)however, that does not matter. The game talks you through everything with a nice and easy tutorial that gives you the basics of a song and what goes into it, such as the bass, the melody, percussion and so on. So far this game has been great fun. We have played it mainly on duet mode. The song selection is great and you can choose either the short or normal length version. The short versions seem to be a bit too short but could be good if you have a queue of people waiting to play. The ratings are good especially if you achieve lead singer status! The great thing about this game is that young and old can enjoy singing together and because the older generation have a slight advantage with the lyrics! All in all good fun.

Like the review above by Jazzy Jazz it is a good game if you like HSM.
Unlike Jazzy Jazz I am not a salesman therefore I can inform people first hand that you will not like this if you want to do proper Karaoke etc. The songs seem tinny and the tutorials are americanised they seem to cater for the above 12's so anyone younger may need adult assistance. Overall it's ok but there are better games of this genre out there. Still it's HSM so will sell just for the name. >>More Details |

Samba De Amigo is, undoubtedly, one of the best motion games I've played on the Wii so far. The basic idea is, as in many games like this, moving and shaking the Wii remote(s) in a specific way to "play" along with the music. Great music and fun visuals make it a really enjoyable experience. However, if you only read the instructions and the in-game tutorials, the controls are, indeed, very frustrating. It only gives you a basic idea, and the controls in many ways are not intuitive.

Where to start??
Guitar Hero 3 Legends of Rock, was a great game - a really great game! So for Neversoft the game was on to create a sequel that would do justice to the series - and boy have they delivered! With over 80 songs, from all genres (country - metal!) there is something for everyone. Its really easy to pick up and play, especially with the new beginner stage! Alongside the songs on the disc it is possible to create your own, or download more from GHtunes. You can also purchase more songs using wii points from the online store. As others have said, you do need wii remotes for all of the instruments, which is a pain, but it doesn't really take anything from the game itself. Well what can I say --I am one of the many who ordered before 14th Nov expecting to get a free bass guitar! Trying to get to Amazon and get any help has provided me with 2 hours frustration spent talking on the phone or typing emails to various Amazon addresses. They should be checked out under the Trades Description Act for False advertising - or is it the Guitar Hero site which provides the link with the free Bass Guitar advert that needs the criticism --whichever it is, I hope all other customers who have been disappointed get what they ordered or vouchers to compensate for the hassle we have to go through for our kids Christmas Presents!!

After looking forward to this game since it was mentioned to be released, i brought it as soon as i could, only to be disappointed once i had looked at the songs. It's missing many of the good disney songs, with numerous songs picked being tricky to sing along to and could have been replaced with much better songs! Also in the duets, such as in circle of life, one player is given the monotonous task of singing a single line over and over while the other player gets to sing the whole of the main part! Apart from the odd good disney song, this game has been quite a disappointment. I would suggest spending the money on a more worthwhile singstar game and sing along to a disney cd instead!

This is a fantastic game!!
The songs are pretty much good rock songs! Personally I like this kind of music, but friends of mine who are not fans still love this game, and many a night has been spent rocking out to Hit me with your best shot by Pat Benatar or Barracuda by Heart. One of my favourite songs is Cliffs of Dover by Eric Johnson, this amazing song gets stuck in your head as you jam! You only have to do a quick search on youtube to find thousands of videos showing you songs and gameplay, and the ultimate challenge to get 100% on Through the Fire and the Flames by Dragonforce!
