I remember how popular Street Fighter was when I was a kid. I had to have a joint Birthday and Christmas present one year just so my parents could afford to get me a Super NES with Street Fighter 2 Turbo included!!
The Special Championship Edition was only released for the Sega Megadrive and is a combination of the original Championship Edition and the Hyper/Turbo editions. It is every bit as good as the arcade and has the added advantage that you can vary the speed between original sluggish and really fast.
The controller is excellent too and is a reproduction of the 6-button Megadrive controller that was brought out specifically for playing SF2. I actually prefer this one as it weighs less and the D-pad has a "loose" ... Read More:

This cable is an okay replacement for the cable that ships with the Playstation and is composite only. Better to buy a cable that provides RGB if your TV supports it, the quaility will be much better.

GBA-GC connectivity has hardly been Nintendo's most popular idea, but finding games that use it well is well worth it. Some games like Zelda Wind Waker/Four Swords and Splinter Cell use it without you needing a GBA game or some use it only when you connect the GBA game to the GC game. These usually are the ones that aren't as good, because it usually just unlocks bonus content (although sometimes good-Metroid Prime connected to Metroid Fusion gives you the NES Metroid on the GC game). It's usually not worth buying the GBA game for the extra content unless you are a big fan (Pokemon is a bit of an exception though- the GBA games really do make Colosseum better as you can play multiplayer). Here are the games that use the cable and what ... Read More:

This was supplied with the travel pack and has 2 bulbs that light the bottom of the screen whilst the top is left in relative darkness. Tricky for the little ones to open and remove. Mine has come apart on several ocassions. Not made very well at all.

I bought this for my wife as she loved Sonic and Alex the Kidd when she was younger.
She loves it! And I'm sure she'd give it a full 5 stars, it gets four stars from me though as even when the Megadrive was out I was still a ZX Spectrum kid at heart.
If they ever bring out a ZX Spectrum version of these plug and play jobbies then I'll be ready to dish out five of those big boys.
The music and the speed of gameplay is exactly how we remember it - this is a great gadget to kill some time with nostalgia!

This is a great little game pad to buy. The game controller is exactly the same as an original Sega Mega Drive controller bar the colour & added menu button, & the battery unit is even shaped like a mini Mega Drive bar the cartridge slot & reset button! Games included are Sonic the Hedgehog, Altered Beast, Golden Axe, Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, Kid Chameleon & Flicky. All are fun games to play, & will keep you hooked for many hours. The only slight drawback with the machine is the sound quality. It is not as good as the original Mega Drive, but this doesn't stop the unit from being a worthy buy.
If you've played them all before, buy it. If you've never heard of them before, buy it!

It's attractive, but there's too much space within when you don't use the spare game slots (it's quite deep) so your GBA won't be snug. That said, it won't scratch either.
