The DS Lite is fantastic. Slim, with bright screens and a good balance between power and battery life. The speakers aren't as good as the older DS, but it doesn't really matter. But, you could make it a pocket Cray supercomputer for I care; it has one major fault.
The hinge will not break unless you open and close the console very frequently; I used to play on mine three times a day and listen to MP3s which meant the hinge would cycle 5-6 times a day. A year later, the right hinge came off. And oh, boy, what have we here?
The rachet that locks the screen open is only in the right hinge. So all the stress is on the right hinge. That means it's going to be reinforced. Right? Right? No. It's actually weaker ... Read More:

well i to have played the beta demo of cod 5 and im sorry but i totally disagree,i think the game actually lacks atmosphere and the guns sound terrible one gun simply sounds like a typewriter.yes the graphics are still the best out there, but the game feels very thin hard to explain really, its like the grenades for e.g when a grenade is near you a poor icon comes up and the explosion well its pathetic.same as the artillery srikes just like cod 3 yawn!! poor. i think that if you have ever owned cod 3 you will no it been made by the same people and it feels like cod3 but with new perks and new ideas for getting kill streaks.all in all im not buying this game after playing the demo im goin to stick with the king of ALL games "COD4" infinity ward you rule!!! ... I was amazed when this arrived in todays post, thought it wasn't out until friday. Check the gamertag (el jonsoon), got just the 10GP for wining a game at the moment, but thought i'd just get that "I've got this game early" gloat out of the way... ahem...
The game itself...
Well the presentation is neither good or bad, fairly intuitive menus that might however seem messy to those not familiar with PES, but not hugely different to recent installments. The music has driven me mad, no-mark indie and pop bands singing about the most irrelevant subject matter (a girl bringing someone down and down and down, again again again - naff).
I haven't played all the way through the champions league yet and so far the 'become a legend' mode seems promising. ... Read More:

I've never written a review on amazon, but after playing this game during the beta i felt compelled to tell people just how brilliant this game is.
First off you have the story mode, in this its like the normal single player type of game, its ingenius and fun to play, for the first time my girlfriend played with me and she hates game but loved this, its simple and just a great laugh, first customising your sackboy/girl and then playing the levels together, its cute, friendly and everyone can play.
The story mode could be sold on its own as its probably better than most games out but its probably less than half of what makes LBP Great.
After playing through most levels you can start creating your own, now i've played many games you can ... Read More:

Yes I've been playing WoW for about 2 years and I play an embarrassing number of hours per day. I've given other MMOs a go (EVE, Age of Conan) but ended up coming back to WoW becuase I just couldn't immerse myself in the characters. At last I can, but at a price - new graphics card (X1650 cheapo) and another GB of RAM (now 3GB in Vista, 2GB was ok tho) - but only because I love to have all the options maxed out. And it's worth it with this game. Why?
It looks fantastic. You can almost smell the marshes. Mozzies buzzing u through the grass and the sun glinting on the water which has splashes and ripples.
The progression is fun to do and with as much humour as WoW. As I play greenskins I love the irreverent atmosphere. You can easily progress using ... Read More:

Gears of war 2 is the sequel to the 1st game which in my eyes is classified as the best Xbox 360 game to date, simply because it has an unparalleled singleplayer campaign mode we have seen this throught videos, it has 8 new and old multiplayer modes, new characters, new weapons, new enemies, new vehicles/monsters. Brapp this game has the full package and if you are a gears of war fan, then i suggest buying the limited edition only £5 extra and you are getting alot.

This was my first venture into the EXCITING WORLD of Tiger Woods PGA extravaganza and lets just say my friends, it is not the last. What particuarly interested me about this game is the well structured multiplayer. While it is certainly no Mario Party, it breathes a degree of finesse. Unfortuantly a few errors where present, such as the infamous No Face glitch, and the graphics are not perfect, but gameplay wise it was relitively entertaining. I just can't wait till next years golf season

I got a Nintendo DS in december 07,by April 2008 i had sold it on. I really, really wanted one and when i got it was completly addicted to it,perfect for when your partners watching the football! The Games appealed to me and i loved that i could take it anywhere and loved how it looked..but then i started to get bored because the games were too short and easy and i ended up not playing on it because i had completed all the games. I think i found i was too old for it at 20 and it was better for younger children as the games were too easy and childish. I would recommend it for children 100% as its great fun and educational. But if your older and like a bit more of a challenge then you may get bored quickly and feel like theres nothing that will last you ... Read More:

with all the posts on here suggesting that this game cannot be reviewed before it comes out,i have had the privilige of playing the beta version.
if i could sum up my experience in one word, itd be unsatisfying.why the developers felt the need to take it back to world war 2 is beyond me,how can you make the switch from the barrett 50.cal or dragunov to the springfield?while the graphics and overall atmosphere have been improved,it altogether feels like a step backward in a game which redefined the genre with its last outing, the superb call of duty 4.
i also understand that in not naming it call of duty 5 they are suggesting that they are branching out into a different game,at the end of the day its called call of duty for a reason, and in taking it back to world war ... Read More:

To start with I am not "a gamer", I bought this as a sort of media centre with the games as a of bonus. In the games dept it is pretty good, great graphics, sound even on a std TV.
However there are a no of things I just expected this box to do which it either doesn't do at all or doesn't do very well.
The reasonably large 60GB hard drive is next to useless at present because it is impossible to store anything other than XBL downloads (mostly trash trailers and demos) and music you rip directly from the DVD drive. (I've since heard that the next console upgrade will allow copying games to disk).
You cannot transfer any files to or from the XBOX, even to your PC running an MS OS.
I have a large amount of music and video (much of it Microsoft) on usb hard drives. The XBOX ... Read More:
