Netgear have made an astonishing product here. I have never seen a better unmanaged desktop switch nor a cheaper one! It will automatically detect if you are using a straight-through cable and not a crossover to connect to another switch and the lights are pretty self-explanatory so there isn't really any need for a manual. Couldn't be better.

It works, and rather well too. I popped in the CD, loaded the drivers and software, plugged the adapter into the USB socket and away it went.
The video capture is pretty good, the writing to DVD is a bit slow, but this is just as likely to be my laptop than anything else. The bottom line is, I needed something to be able to put my videos onto DVD at a reasonable price, and this does it. >>More Details |

Cam within a few days. No setting up required - just plug in, and done. Perfect. Belkin have really done well here. Its small as well, which means it can be tucked away out of sight easily.

Bought this as a stopgap for my son's computer which he inherited when I upgraded. It really is as simple as plug in, install from mini cd and off you go. It works perfectly on our home network connected to a homeplug. I can recommend it without hesitation. The marvellous thing is it actually works which makes a change for these sort of gizmos.

OK, it looks great but what is important in a mouse is that the pointer tracks predictably and the buttons work when you click them.
The pointer does not track predictably. Sometimes it is slow, other times it stops. This could be the surface I am using it on, but I haven't had a similar problem with other mice. The buttons, however, are much worse. Sometimes they work, other times they don't. Sometimes you have to click half a dozen times to get the thing to work. Another problem is that a single click seems to 'store up' lots of clicks and many click commands end up being sent even though you have clicked once. I installed this webcam with the latest software (version 11.5) and found that it periodically crashed my PC. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software a couple of times since following instructions received from Logitech support but to no avail. They are now suggesting I install an older version of the software (v11.1). I am inclined to give it up as a bad job.
