I have seen the same product and brand from halfords, they are still selling £6.99. But you only have to pay just over £2 from amazon, I just can't see where you could get one cheapper than here.

I read all the feedback on this item before I bought it and was aware of software/driver problems with negear adapters so I downloaded and installed the latest driver without bothering with the CD included. During the install I chose to use windows to set up the network and managed to get this working although it was a bit of a fiddle.
Initially i had a lot of problems with the explorer not connecting to the internet despite excellent reception. Eventually I realised the problem was being caused by Netgear's Smart Wizard which was added to the "Start up" list of programmes. This seemed to be interferring with XP wireless network. In Sep'07 I bought a multi pack thro' Amazon which was supplied by seller ext360. These were supplied in a jiffy bag with no outer packaging. Subequently two cartridges would not be accepted by my printer and appeared to be slightly different in appearance from the empty cartridges. As I was outside the 90 day warranty period neither Amazon or Epson were interested in my problem.
My advice to anyone not receiving the correct TO487 packaging is to reject the order & inform Amazon immediately. >>More Details |

I was a little disappointed that the leads were grey and not white, but i'm not all that fussy. The leads are strong and very durable, i get a brilliant, fast connection, and i was up and running in minutes!

This cable is perfect, for what I was looking for. A cheap, yet reliable branded name, that simply connected my PC to the printer. Have had no problems at all. Picked this up for such a bargain, I have NO complaints whatsoever; I would highly recommend this!

I bought this on several people's recommendations, not just the reviews on here (although it is rare to find a product with almost exclusively 5* reviews, so I thought I was probably onto a winner). I plugged it into my Vista PC and it worked almost instantly with absolutely no fuss.
I want it to record voice podcasts, and the quality is more than good enough for that. I expect it would be slightly lacking if you wanted to record music, but for voice it's great. My only tiny gripe is that the packaging is that annoying plastic moulded stuff that you have to destroy to get into, which is a shame because I wanted to be able to take it to work and I was hoping there'd be a box I could re-use; now I'll have to find something else to carry it ... During the course of my work i have occasion to use many different HP printers and fax machines. Untill recommended by my brother inlaw to use www.advantage-online.co.uk i had little faith in the re-manufactured versions available at all sorts of prices. However i have been using advantage for about 6 months and have to say that the version they sell is excellent. Not the cheapest compatible 57 cartridge you can buy but the quality is excellent and lasts alot longer. I order today and always get the goods tomorrow with free post, and i still save money.
