I was quite impressed about this product, once you get over the P&P charge. It's really good! There is a red light indicating when the product is on, and four green lights which light up and indicate the ports that are in use. There is about half a cm gap between each port, which isn't much, but it's good if your memory stick is slim. Cables aren't really an issue, it's plenty of space for several usb cables.
Beware that the mains plug is a massive bulky box, which was a bit of trouble inserting into to an extension cable full of plugs, but no worries otherwise.
I read in another review that it didnt shut down with the computer, mine was fine with this problem. I'm running windows XP on a Dell and it's perfectly fine. ... Read More:

I was looking for a router which would be powerful and future proof. After much investigation, I decided on the D-Link Xtreme N(tm) Gigabit Router (DIR-655), which has both WAN and LAN gigabit ports. The only obvious drawback is that although the router has a USB port, it is near useless as you cannot connect a printer or hard drive to it. The router was bought from amazon.co.uk and supplied by Pixmania for £74.35 including postage and packing.
Incidentally, for top performance, it's best to have PCs with gigabit ethernet (1000Base-T) adapter cards, because if you were to move files between the PCs then you should see an improvement compared with PC fitted with 100Base-T cards. Your PC should also have either a PCIe (PCI Express) ... Read More:

I ordered this via Addonsworld and it arrived within 3-4 days. It is a Microfilter with a tail and sockets for both a telephone cable and modem; the one I recieved was branded as made by BT which I have used to plug my phone into. As a broadband virgin I have little experience of what to expect from this product but three weeks in it seems to work fine and there is no extra noise on my telephone line. I purchased it to use with a Netgear DG834G 54Mbps Wireless ADSL2+ Modem Firewall Router with 4-port 10/100 switch; this came with its own microfilter in the box and so far I have had no connection or service problems (broadband via Plusnet).

Cable turned up quite promptly, the item seems in 'new condition' as described. Packaging is average, item isn't supplied "boxed" as described, it came in half clear box, inside a jiffy bag. Item is NOT branded Belkin...I wish Amazon rectified this with the seller (there are several sellers on the amazon site advertising brand names for their products when they ARE NOT). If it is NOT a Belkin it should NOT be sold as a Belkin (this is just NOT right). It's branded 'Azona' and more importantly, it doesn't look like the cable in the picture! However, the cable is cheap and provided it works (I haven't tested it yet) then I'll be okay with the cable, but I WON'T be okay with the way the product was advertised (why not say Belkin type cable, NOT Belkin, make Azona, made in ... A good case but fudamentaly let down by poor quality plastic catches on the main flap. One broke after 4 months and the other shows stress lines on the join. The catches are also difficult to engage, especially one handed. The straps to these catches also do not tighten. Finally, the main shoulder strap slips (I had mine stitched to stop this). On the plus side, the bag has loads of space and is well made. Perhaps the strap issues were specific to this batch!
