We have been long term Canon users having owned a variety of bubble jets. We bought the MP460 because we needed a new scanner. Our old Canon scanner was OK but Canon do not provide any VISTA drivers to make it work with our new PCs. The MP460 is difficult to use and the cartridges are extremely expensive and don't last very long. Yes, we are using the high capacity carts, the low capacity carts are a joke. The MP460 carts are a bit like HP carts in that they are both printhead and reservoir. The print quality is different with every cart and the last one we bought was rubbish. We are very unhappy, a pair of carts from a discount source is £35 and you get less than 100 pages of print. Compared to the printers we have owned that use the ... Read More:

This is a very large, heavy and solidly-build comb binder with a footprint of some 50x50cm so you are going to need somewhere capacious to store this if buying it for occasional home use. I decided on this model as it had by far the largest punching capacity of the manual binders listed (25 x 80g sheets) and does this no problems.
Note the photo on Amazon's site differs from my PB2300, which is a manual binder and does not have the adjuster knob on the top surface. The PB2500 is the electric version with a 12 sheet punching capacity, but still not quite like the photo.
If you need a serious manual binder, its a bargain at £70-80

We are on our second printer, the first left severe smudges along the right hand margin. Even though it was brand new, HP would only support it back at base with a 14 day turn around. We opted for a return and replacement. The new one is just as bad, this one we did return to HP for servicing. We have to continually clean the transfer unit to remove residue from the cartridges and still have a large quantity of copies coming out with marks along the margin. This is particularly worse if you have something that needs printing up to the edges, you get a shadow print of each line. My advice - look around for another machine. It's a shame because I am usually an HP fan.

I purchased this Brother AIO (MFC) printer through Amazon.co.uk and am very happy with the service and the product. It does what is mentioned in amazon website. As this is network ready, I connected this to one of the ports of my ADSL Modem wireless router. I could print from both desktop and laptop. This was very easy.
The only downside is that scanning cannot be done over the network. USB connection to the printer is necessary. Unfortunately the required cable is not provided.
