After doing research on the internet I finally decided to go for the HP C6280. I have been an HP fan since I started with computers 12 years ago. My workhorse 840C was finally rebelling and I had to make a decision. Some people reported difficulty setting up the machine so I went along with the idea that I would follow the instructions faithfully, which I did. However I couldn't get passed the Install Hardware Wizard however hard I tried. After 4 hours of uninstalling previous HP items, reinstalling the C6280, or trying to, I finally e-mailed HP for help. They came back to me within 2 hours with "help". I say help in inverted commas because it seemed to me that it was just what I had already done. However I decided to go back a couple of ... Once i struggled with the X15 from the box yes its pretty weighty, but I soon found out it was on castors which made moving it about a delight, the instruction book is pretty poor, but as I have had previous shredders I didnt need too much tuition, once set up its a delight and extremly quiet Im hoping as this shredder was a bit more expensive initialy that it will outlast my other two shredders as they always seem to fail on me after a few years, time will tell.
