Very good for beginners.
Its quite durable incase it falls off your desk or whatever, hasnt broke on me yet after over a year.
The only problem with it, is that it sometimes jumps about the screen..
Unplugging it and putting it back in should do the trick, or re-callibrating it. (something you can do in mere seconds)

I read a lot. However, I am too lazy to take notes and doing so would be too time consuming. The Cpen is like having a second brain - every little snippet of information that you thought was interesting or may be of use at some later stage can be scanned into the pen. The available memory is 4.5MB not the 8MB that is advertised (the operating system requires the 3.5MB apparently). If you have the dictionary option then you are left with 1.2MB - this equates to roughly 350 A4 pages - I deleted the dictionary to access the full 4.5MB (1,500 A4 pages).
You connect to your computer via cable or infra-red. I use the latter - very easy.
