The Wacom Intuos2 graphics tablet is simply the best! I have used one for some time, and couldn't be more pleased with the quality of the product. It never fails, is easy to customise and use, making it a complete joy.
More importantly, the sensitivity of the Intuos2 provides extremely high control over detailed graphics work, and allows work to be completed much faster than using other input devices.
I would reccomend the Intuos2 to anyone and everyone. No matter what it's used for, this device does it better.

For its more than agreeable price, this is good mid-range laptop. Having 2GB of RAM it manages to cope well with Vista. It comes pre-installed with a free 90 day trial version of Norton Anti-virus, although this can be uninstalled and replaced with a free anti-virus package (Avast, AVG etc). It also has `Acer Arcade' installed which is more or less a carbon copy of Windows XP Media Centre which is also installed... The screen display is very good. It comes with a built in webcam and microphone. It is a little bulky in size, but given the built in features, price and sizable HD (160GB) this is expected.
It does not come with any back-up discs so I strongly recommend that 30 minutes is set aside to make a full system and driver ... Read More:

I ordered this laptop for my wife on the 1st November 2007- it lasted seven months before it became increasingly unreliable and finally gave up the ghost completely mid- May. Acer customer help is useless, they do not supply a recovery disc with the system. The recovery software resides on a 10GB partition on the hard disc- which had become corrupt- the dreaded 'BOOTMGR not present' message- seems to be common with Vista systems. I stupidly upgraded the memory early on in an attempt to make the computer run at a decent speed instead of a 386 with a limp!- that was a mistake, it invalidates the warranty. Moral of the story is DO NOT BY ACER unless it comes with a Vista recovery disc- you cannot rely on the 10GB partition as a recovery option. Nearly ... Read More:

Using this laptop as a desktop replacement and it is near perfect! Vista and other preloaded software does not do justice to it's spec but I have got XP on it and the 3GB RAM and Turion TL-60 processor do shine here.
Very slim compared to other 17" laptops out there which means it's very easy to carry it around if you find the need to.
Build quality is very good and speakers are better than most laptops I have seen and used, very good battery life too.
Overall, this laptop will not dissappoint.

I bought this computer about eight months ago. The touchpad is poor, allowing the cursor to 'skip' repeatedly across text, making typing troublesome. Every Windows Update crashes the system, and uninstalls the "audio input device". Not since Windows Millenium edition have I had to turn off the computer to remove the battery pack to reboot a computer, but I have to do this three times a week with this one - the laptop probably crashes eight times a week. The touchpad is making typing even this review very annoying. Only the graphics are good. Don't buy it.

i bought this laptop after searching and comparing many websites and other laptops on amazon and for the price this one looked the best. i would highly recommend this, it is packed full of games and gadgets and it is damn shiney. having never used vista before i was sceptical but it is fairly easy to use for novices like me.
the scrolling bit on the touch pad in a nice feature. overall it is a really nice laptop, has everything you need for work, play and enough memory and spec to store all your stuff and run with no problems.

I bought my Graphire a couple of years ago and it's still going strong. I use it mainly within Photoshop, for retouching photographs and for sketching/drawing. The retouching - given, I could do that with a mouse, but Graphire is much more intuitive and accurate. The drawing would just be impossible to do without a graphics tab, so for me it's worth the money and more. As I have not used other Wacom tabs I cannot compare directly, but the sensitivity of the pad is superb. If the others are more sensitive, then so much the better. I find this more than adequate for even fine detail. What I had not appreciated before my purchase was the way the tab can act as a replacement for the mouse in general use if need be. As my wireless mouse has a habit of ... Read More:
