This is a great way to save energy: when you walk away from the computer, just press the button and it instantly sends the 'puter into standby. When you return, just wobble the mouse and the 'puter instantly springs to life.
Mainly. Just occasionally I find it hangs instead of restarting, and takes some minutes to come back to life, which is frustrating. It happens only occasionally - but one star off.
After reading some reviews and seeing similar products I was sceptical about the nimzy vibro max at first, but I do love gadgets and I had to give it a go. I was surprised by how small and heavy it is when I got it out of the box and how well built it feels.
The sound quality is good, I would compare it to other small portable speakers although it has slightly more bass and it can sound much better than most portable speakers as long as you have something like a large window or table to put it on.
The main reasons for buying this product are:
the fun you get by trying it on different surfaces
it's small size
how solid it feels in your hand
the remote
and lastly the relatively good sound ... Read More:

This is a good fit for my Dell studio laptop. However, the colour isn't like that on the photo at all. What looks white on the image is in reality a smeary beige... not very impressed with it. But it's good protection and practical, so unless you're very fussy about colours, it's great.

This bag has lots of little and large pockets and there is no need for a separate laptop sleeve, as it's well protected in between the padded pocket in the main compartment of the bag. The base of the bag is padded and would withstand a hardy knock, and the canvas is very hardwearing too.
A few downsides to the bag though, once you have your laptop safely ensconced in the bag there is not much room for the charger, it does fit in there but its a tight fit, and although there are extra pockets for books etc, I couldn't get them in and I have a slim laptop (Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Pi 2515).The bag itself is a little weighty although this is what happens when you get such good padding I suppose.
It is a very smart laptop bag and if you dont ... Read More:

I have bought this piece of kit for my laptop which obviously did not come with a floppy dd. I had a lot of floppies with data that I needed to keep on floppy. My only observation is that originally looking on the Amazon site I found it was being sold by a amazon market place dealer. I ordered it in good faith and to cut a long story short it never arrived and I eventually had a swift refund from Amazon. The dealer never answered emails I sent. I then spotted that Amazon was selling it themselves and ordered it and it arrived within the week (same price and no postage costs!) I therefore would suggest you buy it from Amazon (when they advertise it). You will not be disappointed.

I bought this to go with a work Dell Laptop supplied by the client with XP but with no CD/DVD drive. Unfortunately it failed to recognize the MyLink drive. I then tried it with my home Laptop, also XP, which did recognize it but came up immediately with a power surge error. I tried with my home PC (VISTA home) and this two did not recognize it. There are no real instructions on what to do now, so it has gone back.

Really pleased with these. It's not like being at Gatecrasher on a big trance night, but they do their job as travel speakers or as a second "hi-fi". Tweaking your iPod's EQ menu helps them sound better - I like the Dance (bassy) and Electronic (trebly but little bass) and Rock settings. I leave the iStation 'surround sound' ON. (Surround sound only if you're the size of a flea, though.)
Cost me £50 four years ago (still going strong) and much cheaper if you play around with a few mouse clicks now !
Re some web reviews stating that continually operating the iPod buttons weakens the docking connection - I don't know if it works with the smaller ones, but on the full-size iPod or the new Touch version (I've tried both), you are supposed to take ... Read More:
