I bought this for my daughter who is disabled and was having problems recording and remembering homework, deadlines etc at college. As she cannot write, I thought this would be ideal as a basic planner.
Fortunately, my elder University student daughter was here when it arrived.... just as well! She battled with it for over an hour and concluded it was just TOO complicated for what it was suppose to do...in the end she gave up.
I then attempted to understand, get to grips with it and show my younger daughter how to work it ..I persevered for a further hour when I too abandoned all hope of ever understanding it.
If my elder daughter and I couldn't get to grips with it... how on earth could my younger daughter?! ... Read More:

At last! A car adapter that is mercifully short. My cigar lighter is very near the gear stick. Previous adapters stuck so far out of the cigar lighter I couldn't get the car into 3rd gear. This one's nice a short and doesn't protrude too far.
The only gripe is the cable's a bit short so I can't have the Phone on the right of the windscreen, it has to go in the middle.
I found the device easy to use and very intuitive; it's software worked very well and the updates were very good..however.. the main reason I bought this unit, the ability to know what traffic is doing ahead of me and suggest detours, simply doesn't work.
The guy at Halfords helpfully informed me that it doesn't work in Surrey (which would have been great advice had it been given at the point of purchase!) and that because all manufacturers seem to be using TMC now there is No sat nav that can help.
The ONE has now been returned and I await developments with interest. (He mentioned digital units that should be available soon...?) I would advise everyone to check TMC in the the shop you buy it from (or just outside) - do you have a signal? ... Read More:

I'm on my second Summit HC, the first one going back as faulty as would only track for a short time before crashing and the replacement isn't much better, just going for slightly longer periods between crashes. It's not even immediately obvious that it's crashed because the display just stops updating - potentially dangerous if you're depending on it, and just very annoying if you were hoping to have a nice trail to view on Google Earth (or similar) after your walk/bike ride.
If it worked reliably it would be a good device at this price. It finds the satellites quickly (although is much slower to get a 3d fix if you want to see your route profile). If you set off as soon as it has a 2d fix, you can do a loop and find that you've finished hundreds of feet ... Read More:

I have had a couple of Krussell cases before for Sony Ericson phones. So I was delighted to see they had made one for the iphone. I bought this Krussell case for the original iphone and was delighted that the new 3g fitted just as well. I think the red lining is classy, and it is still wearing well. The flap protects the front and the cutouts allow access to all the buttons and connections. The front flap fold back round and gives more bulk to the phone and comfortable to hold. The design acts as a stand and the clip on the back fits into one of the three cut outs. No other case I know of allows this.
I have not use the multidapt clip as it makes it bulky, instead I have tied a neck strap around the clip and it stays in my top pocket with the strap around my ... Read More:
