Christmas is coming so save your cash! Why purchase something you can get for free or under 5 pounds.
Go to SatNavs.co.cc and sign up. Complete ONE offer - I would recommend Gala Bingo (you know, the one Sharon Osborne advertises for on tv),as this is cheap and fun (and you might win some money in the process!)
If you really don't want to spend, there is a free Lovefilm trial.
All companies are well known so there is no risk involved- give it a go! I got my SatNav and many other things this way, so don't miss out.
I was a sceptic once but now I am SO glad I gave it a chance. B8C approved this system on their Newsnight programme a while back.
I don't normally do reviews of products I've bought on t'Internet, but felt compelled to do so on this occasion, because I had slight reservations owing to some of the slightly discouraging reviews, especially the piece from someone about it being yank-centric. Have no fear though friends, this is an excellent bit of kit. I fully support the comments of the other 5* ratings - it's just hoofing! Switches from mode to mode at the touch of a button, and enables you to research the word/subject you're working on and retains it for each different mode. Easy to use as well - I haven't needed to consult the instructions yet...OK, I'm a bloke, so I shouldn't need to, but it is so straight forward, anyone could use it. It's so diverse and comprehensive ... Read More:

This does exactly the job it says it will. Easy to install on Vista and works straightaway with a Nokia 6300. Connects as soon as I walk in the door updating contacts and calendar dates. Excellent.

i've recently bought a navman s50. i've found it to be reliable and very simple to use. i've not yet read the instruction manual and in all honesty there isn't much need for one. the sat nav itself calculated routes quickly and if you manage to take the wrong turn it redirects you with ease. the built in bluetooth handsfree set is great, no need to clutter your car with electronics. all in all a quality piece of kit for the price.

I've had a garmin car sat nav for some years and have found it very accurate when driving around the country and reliable. After having it stolen(gutted), I researched other makes and prices to replace the nuvi205 but wanted this time a nav with traffic and no subscriptions (tom tom new live versions upto £10 month) and a brand that is not likely to go bump in the near future, i'd never heard of garmin a few years ago but is a well known in the professional trades/services. The garmin is a steardy well made bit of kit, does what it say's with a few options which i'm not interested in, the traffic information is I believe a well proven source of info (blue looking camaras on bridges) Rac supplied a device free years ago which worked well from the ... Easy to use and a great aid to running. Signal is brilliant where I am but can imagine it could disappear in dense wood or town area. But then take the warnings in the reviews and move up a model or two to improve this minor problem. Enjoy!

I am not good at spelling... and am a teacher & need information & perfect spelling quickly... and love both the seiko machines. The screen on the bigger ER 9000 is clearer & there is slightly more information in the dictionary (But not, as one review claimed, the full OED!!) and the machine actually feels slightly more fragile than the cheaper one, but it is very well made. I am not sure I like the metal aluminum case (feels slightly cool to the touch). The cheaper smaller dictionary/encyclopedia fits very well into a pocket & is slightly smaller in size & feels very robust...
Both are great & are heavily used... they make marking more fun!

Bought this unit in June this year and though I am very happy with the actual satnav, I was very disappointed with the maps. I live in Cornwall and maybe they just haven't bothered to come down here. To have B roads inaccurate is disappointing but there are a number of major A road errors on the map - roads that have been open for over twelve months. Having had the unit for just a few months they now tell me that my maps are out of date and they want £196 for me to update them! I wonder if the new ones have corrected the errors? I am tempted to change the unit but don't use it regularly enough to make it worthwhile. It's a shame because the interface and the system is very good...
