I've had this unit for a couple of years now and I absolutely love it. It really helps gauge your training whether you are walking, running or biking, on or off road. It is easy to use, clear to see and comfortable to wear. Battery life is great too and the unit is easy to recharge from your PC. The only minor gripe I have is that it can lose signal under the cover of trees. The software is great and is continually updated, and your routes can be shown on Google Maps as well now. Value for money is increasing as the price drops.

instructions are poor and don't seem to have any relivance to the device with regard to some functions.
It's far to complicated to use easily. I suggest using a notepad and pen instead or even the reminder facility on your mobile phone. >>More Details |

This device was purchase as a present for someone who enjoys crosswords. The thesaurus is really easy to use (just type in the word and press 'Thesaurus') and the device a good choice of synonyms, which is useful for writing letters or completing those tricky crossword clues! The device will even offer a definition of alternative words that it finds, which is useful if you need to double check.
The devices hidden gem however is the crossword solver tool. Just input a word (minus the letters you don't have), such as ?ER?IN?A?? and the device will fill in the blanks and list all the possible words that match that pattern. I bought what I thought was a new s90i from amazon only to find it was a factory repacked version ---- it would have cost 20+pounds less direct from navman----as such it would not load any camera updates so it had to go back to navman for furher service before it would perform correctly. So buy elsewere if you plan to use all its functions ----otherwise its a great product when sorted.

Had Tomtom software installed on my Nokia N95 8GB Mobile Phone needed a GPS Receiver N95 has a Internal GPS but it is totally RUBBISH saw this one was nice and small just what I needed.
Well it is easy as 1,2,3 My N95 found it straight VIA Bluetooth but what really Supraised me was that it cached a SIGNAL INSIDE MY HOUSE YES INSIDE!!! so I turned everything off to try again this time I got my Tomtom 920 out and it could not find a signal inside BUT did manage to find it after 3 minutes just showing 1 BAR then I opened the Tomtom on my Nokia N95 & BOY I was SHOCKED got a signal in 20 seconds and showing 3 BARS This Must be something to do with the CHIPSET thats inside this "GPS 2000 FREEDOM" uses a Chipset called MTK while the one in ... I brought this to replace my old Sat Nav and have been delighted with it. Just been on holiday for a week in Kent and enjoyed it much more with the help of this product.
It should say that an in car charger and bracket was included as I purchased these separately and had the trouble of cancelling and obtaining refunds etc. No inhouse mains charger included though. >>More Details |

Bought this unit before an RV holiday in the US - it really is invaluable abroad, especially in the US where most paper maps are not so good. It takes a huge amount of stress out of driving, primarily through a single feature - showing how far ahead your next turn is. This means you are not constantly looking out for that elusive road on the left - you can relax until you get very close to it, and then its usually obvious. Its quick to recalculate a route if you deviate from the chosen one, so it really doesn't matter even you miss a turn somewhere, it will always get you to your destination.
