Admittedly, I bought these batteries to go into my Xbox 360 Elite pad as I do have a charger but thought that I could use these for my 2nd pad. Recieved them not too long ago & they don't seem to fit into the battery pack as well as they should. I have 4 individual cuts on my hands from trying to get them out the battery pack which took about literally 20 mins, I do hope they'll become much easier to get out as time goes by. But I have problems understanding why they fit more snugly than they really should.
Update: Got the batteries to come out (slightly) easier. However, one of them takes ages to recharge once I started charging it at 2 in the afternoon & it finished at about 12.30 at night! Bearing in mind my adaptor takes ... Read More: >>More Details |

I have had a couple of Belkin units, including this one, fail to protect my equipment. Once a PC just died one day, and I found burn marks on the motherboard PSU connector. The other time with this exact unit there was a lightning strike nearby, and the computer PSU was fried along with my monitor and HiFi amplifier.
Both times I tried to claim from Belkin on their warranty. They make it very hard, and you have to send them the damaged equipment. In both cases they at first refused to pay up, but eventually I got some compensation out of them. Nothing like the value of the items though, only their "second hand" value which for Belkin means car boot sale prices. I now have a Tripp-Lite and touch wood have no had any problems. >>More Details |

I moved back from the US to the UK with a lot of electrical equipment.
I purchased a few of these units. Anything electrical , without a motor is generally okay. If you're running, for example, a motor or a big amplifier, then do some more research to make sure that this is good enough. I'm down to 2 having tried it with a couple of kitchen-based electrical items, and them hearing a pop, and then smelling burning. It has uni-directional screws, so if you blow it, you blow it. Do some internet research to ocnfirm your power requirement - not just the wattage. If you work it out (I'm still uncertain), then you're on for a cheap winner.
