This is a fantastic processor, with great overclocking ability, and already clocked at 2.67ghz is no way sluggish at all! Most games, including the latest blockbusters like Bioshock will run beautifully on this processor with no lag at all.
Another great thing about Core 2 Duo is the amount of stuff you can have going at once, it's really good. Run a movie, itunes, a game and much more all at once without any slowdown..Yeah, it's nice but when is one person gonna run all that at once!? :p Overall, yeah it's a great processor that you can overclock way past 3.4Ghz, but I'd step down to the 2.40ghz E6600 as it's much cheaper and the performance difference between them is negligble.
