I've just bought this case and the Canon A460. I read that you could get spare batteries in the case, but I've tried, and the camera is such a snug fit that you might risk damaging the camera if you did. If you drop the batteries in the bottom of the case, and then insert the camera, the velcro fastener on the flap doesn't reach. Good protection for the camera, but that's all.

Took to show my mate who is VERY fussy on what he uses, almost had to prise it off him so have just ordered another one!!!
Very well built, not plastic.
Like others mentioned slightly hard to open it but once done you know how much pressure is needed, have even used it to run UBUNTU from.
Get one to back up your documentss and files so if your computer disc fails you can replace them easy.
