My current camera bag whilst good for two lenses (one with the lens attached) had become very limiting. I just wanted a bag with space for an additional lens and some extra kit but nothing fancy. However I am very fussy about quality. I confess to having looked in a high street photgraphic retailer - after walking out in shock with their catalogue I started to compare prices and specifications. The D100 AW stood out. At the time of purchase there was a massive difference in price - some £57+ ! Even at a higher price I would be very impressed with this bag. Don't get me wrong, this is a good case. The only trouble is that once people see this case in relation to their old case they think it is magic - fair enough. But compare like for like and the XClio A380 is a better case in the same price range.

This cognac coloured leather case feels and smells just like a proper pre-war Leica ever-ready case, with its little leather dome with the Leica logo embossed into the leather.
The lining is nicely soft to protect the camera's black finish from scratches.
The leather strap is perhaps a touch too long for the camera to comfortably hang around your neck, but it's easily shortened with a leather punch to make more eye holes for the buckle.
I'd consider this an essential accessory for the D-Lux 3 - I hope Leica think about making leather cases for its other superb cameras, such as the M and D series.
