this is by far the best camera to ever use for photography! or for any purpose! this camera has been rated by 'Which' magazine, compared with the dynax 6/7 & 8, this camera is still the best version! i highly recommend it to any true photographer, nikon, cannon etc camera's are useless and break easily! and are complicated to use!

I bought this camera about a year and a half ago and i'm sure there are some much better autofocus film SLR's available now. After saying that, this is a great camera for people who are new to using AF cameras. Its very light-weight (at the time it was the lightest film AF,SLR on the market), its very compact and easy to use (you can literally start taking photos straight away). I recently got hold of this camera and now I know why Nikon themselves call it a "professional" camera. It's basically an F5 made to look like a normal SLR. It is bigger than your average run-of-the-mill camera to the extent that I would call it manly, robust! I have run several films through it and it can handle all the situations I have thrown at it. The autofocus is very fast and accurate. Because it is bigger than normal it feels very rugged. The ergonomics make it feel lighter than it is because it fits in the hand very nicely. I go everywhere with mine, well, you never know what might happen do you! If you are serious about photography and can afford it get one, you wont be disappointed.
