This book is an amazing overview of the function of the liver, the symptoms of a bad liver and how a diet can help you to improve your liver function.
Reading it answered many questions i had about why i had been feeling certain ways throughout my life. I didnt really know what the liver did before i read this but you soon find out it is essential to look after it.
There are many reasons to read this book, not just losing weight, i recommend it to anyone interested in their own well being.

I have to write a review of this book because I'm so impressed with the results after just three weeks. My overweight friend lost 10 stone following Sandra Cabot's book 'Syndrome X'. I decided, with just one and a half difficult stones to lose, to try one of her other books, and chose this one. I have been juicing for about 10 years and it is probably the best book on juicing I have purchased in that time, it has great content and explains the vitamin contents of most fruits and vegetables and what medical conditions they would be good for. I use it every day. I would also highly recommed another book by the same author called Miracle Soups for anyone who is interested in homemade soups it is an excellent book and a good way of getting your quota of fruit and vegs daily

I love this book, infact I love juicing. Jason is a great inspiration and juicing certainly helped me to a healthier and trimmer body. I have tried most of the recipes and all of them taste wonderful. The vegetable ones are a great way to use up the excess stock from my allotment.
I didn't even buy this book - it came free with my juicer, now that's a bargain.

I followed it to the letter and lost 8lb in 7 days (I was 1.5st overweight, but otherwise fit). It required v little willpower. I didn't even crave chocolate (and I was a 2-3 bar per day girl before) and it has definately unhooked me from my unhealthy eating habits (sugar, salt, caffeine, comfort food) and given me the boost I needed.
The plan requires organisation and the ability to wash up lots (the juicer and blender) as you are making juices up to 5 times per day! Once you're in the swing of it, the juices are quick and will probably save you time compared to regular cooking.
