This is a fantastic piece of kit. Lockblock patio and PVC Gutters/ Soffits now sparkling. Dirtblaster does the business.
Only one problem, relating to the suction hose. The instructions (page 6)state "pull detergent suction hose as far as is required out of the housing". The hose is very short and too easily pulled off the connection. Now I have a suction hose which is detached from the machine !! I suggest the following modifications 1) longer suction hose, 2) Fix the suction hose with a proper mechanical connection (it is presently a push fit which is useless), 3)colour code the hose to indicate when it has reached the end of it's travel. I bought a K3.97 washer which came with a T200 patio cleaning head. This really does work well and fast and stops the spash back you get with the spray gun. Don't leave the sprayer in an unheated shed as frost may cause damage in the winter. May be the cause of leaks people have complained about!

I received my K7.85M Washer at lunch time and by dinner time it lay dead in the gagage with a dud motor. As you assemble the unit you soon realise the tacky plastic build quality. NOT very substantial at all. The result to my large paved garden area for the time the machine did operate was very good but as it only worked for two hours it is difficult to assess it over a period. At a cost of nearly £300 (Amazon fail to show the added VAT) this is NOT a good buy, more of a goodbye.

I brought the Karcher 8 months ago and I must say the cleaning power of the vario lance is superb and the detergent function is also an added bonus.
I use mine mainly for the patio 2 or 3 times a year and light use on the car, in my short time of ownership the foldaway hose reel handle snapped off when I was in the proces of reeling in the hose. The handle is in my opinon a poor design and bound to break sooner or later. Im hoping that Karcher can supply an uprated handle as there is simply no point in replacing like for like as it just isnt upto the job of turning the hose drum without breaking. The supplied vario lance is great at cleaning moss etc from patios and after purchasing the Dirtblaster lance I found no difference ... Read More: >>More Details |

This stuff just doesn't work. Karcher are great at the washers but should not bother with the detergent, at least not until they can make one that enhances the cleaning performance.

Does what it says on the tin.
Used it for the first time today without detergents etc. Easy to assemble, all the pressure I want. In fact the pressure forces dirt all over the place when on max - might be worth reading about the patio attachment you can buy. I'm ordering mine now. >>More Details |
