I bought this in April thinking Bosch must be a good product, it is not. The line runs out very quickly and has a tendency to break off inside the spool. Getting into the spool to find the broken line is a test of patience! - there is a fiddly plastic ring which defies logic how to get it off and on. Also the bump feed button protrudes from the base which retricts the cutting height. Not a recommended buy.

Just recevied it today and I couldn't stop myself using it.
I am very much pleased with it. It does its job perfectly.
The hand grips are very soft and you will not feel pain on hands even after hours of use. The blades are of good quality.
Overall good value for money for a small garden.

These are the best goggles I've had in my 30 year DIY career. The soft plastic sides make them comfortable to wear. They don't steam up thanks to the side ventilation and fit easily over spectacles. I'm very pleased with them. A bargain.
Lightweight-ish, well balanced, powerful, handy to use, but one problem...
battery only lasts for limited time and then takes a good while to recharge. For more than just a bit of lawn/edge-trimming or other small areas, it would really need 1 or even 2 spare batteries. Unless there is something wrong with the almost new one I have.

I've been having this Hedgecutter for 3 years. No problems whatsoever and very powerful in what it does. Don't forget to grease the teeth of the blade after each time you use it. It will prolong the life of it.

I bought this having used Jessops lens pens in the past and been very pleased with them.
This one at first appeared just the same, but after just a month of light use it smears the lens so terribly it has rendered it unusable - I had to buy a special lens cloth just to remove the awful blue smears from the lens pen!
Having used lens pens for many years I am pretty certain it's not me - maybe I just had a faulty pen, but I certainly won't be using it again. My lenses are too expensive to use inferior products on!

Corvus is an enchanting book. There is no sentimentality here - indeed, Esther Woolfson goes to rigorous lengths to avoid anthropomorphism - and yet the entire book is infused with warmth, charm and humanity, whilst the birds themselves - very much the stars of the piece - are quite wonderful. The episodic narrative, charting the author's own journey of avian experience and discovery - punctuated by digressions on topics such as birds in folklore, bird physiology, bird evolution, bird flight and bird song - is completely compelling: I could barely put it down. The expositions themselves are equally interesting, hugely informed and informing, but never daunting. Beautifully written, the prose is spare but elegant, seemingly almost taking on the metre ...
