I started cubing at christmas when i was presented with my first 3x3x3 cube. I was determined to master the thing. Eventually i was able to do it and i'm working hard to get a quick time.
I decided to go for a little harder challenge and so the 4x4x4 was the obvious next step. It was a challenge but knowledge from the 3x3x3 one makes it easier to pick up strategies and techniques. Once you master this the 3x3x3 seems so much more simple. This is deffinutly a good buy for people wanting more then a 3x3x3. But if your just starting out go for the 3x3x3 as you deffinutly need it to understand this one. 5x5x5 here i come!!! >>More Details |

I was interested in buying this and saw one out for demonstration, so i thought i'd test it out before i bought it. Lucky i did! I thought of a racoon and began the game. It began promising, asking sensible questions, then went totally off the point. It never got it in 20 questions and only got it on the 25 question, which i felt was a bit of a cheat. I tried again with something simple, but this time, it never got it. I was glad when the words "you win" came up on the screen and it turned itself off, probably because it was embarrassed! At that point, i had to leave, which i felt glad to do, and was very glad i tried it before i bought it. Still a classic. Still great fun. And great value.
The small size is ideal to carry around, though a bit too bulky to be actually used as a keyring, and the keychain gets in the way...I took it off and put it in the metal recycle bin. After that...great miniature sized cube, easy to fit in a jacket or even trouser pocket. Great to zone out with on long journeys, or as an executive stress toy even...obviously this is once you're actually able to do it - otherwise it most certainly won't REDUCE your stress :D At this price its the best value. This fell apart within hours of use. Put it back together again a number of times, but its weak plastic mechanisms cracked, rendering it useless. I have rubix cubes that I won at funfairs years ago that still work perfectly fine. Not good enough.

Bought this for my daughter last Christmas and frankly hasn't worked properly since. You can't get rid of the previous drawing. The new drawing line is so thin and faint you have to go over the line a number of times to see it. All in all very disappointing and not at all like the original one I had many years ago.

Brilliant game, although this was purchased for my boyfriend, the whole family enjoyed playing with this funky cube. There are 6 games to choose from, one being multiplayer. You'll soon find out your favourite games and compete to beat your or other peoples scores!

I saw this item on Amazon and instantly jumped up with joy.
I've just ordered them and I cannot wait till I get them. I'm a huge fan of top trumps games as they are enjoyable and can be played with the whole family. I especially love motor top trumps. This item would be a must have for all top gear fanatics like myself. >>More Details |

I have had several editions of the Guinness World Records over the years and they have generally had a huge amount of content. This edition is much more like children's enclopedia than a serious books of records. There is much less material than normal and what little there is seemed to have been plucked almost at random and is poorly organised.
It may still appeal to children because of the numerous pictues. A few of these are 3D as advertised on the cover, and 3D glasses are included in the book so they can be veiwed. This is the re-release of the rubiks snake. The basic idea is to make different shapes by twisting the Snake's triangular pieces! This is fun at first, but, it very soon becomes boring. It isn't really a puzzle as there is not a solution. you just make shapes!!
