There are reports all over the net that the lens will have a fault within a year of purchase and Canon will not be interested in your problem. It has happened to me after just 9 months! The lens won't open and displays a,"Lens error,restart camera",message.It won't restart. Canon don't care!

Got mine as an xmas gift as we were expecting our son at the time. rarely took photo's before but thought we would take loads once the baby was born, which we have.

I bought this just over a year ago, and although the camera itself is fantastic, the battery is appalling. There appears to be a fault either in the charger or the battery itself (this is widely documented on the internet) so that after a few charges, it refuses to do anything. I contacted Casio and they were brilliant at getting me a replacement battery in a few days. However, after charging it, oh ONCE, the new battery is completely dead and refuses to charge. There's no power in it at all, so it is useless. I now have to contact Casio again and see if I can get another one!! But it will probably happen again... :/

Lowepro Napoli 5 bought with Canon Ixus 70. The reviews I read prior to purchasing this case cast some doubt on it's features. I have to say it's very good quality, the camera fits neatly and is not a tight fit,with a little pocket for a spare memory card, the magnetic fastener is far better in my opinion than velcro, fits neatly on a belt and overall I give it 10/10.

Cheapest digital photo frame I've seen so far, and it did the job straight out of the box. Picture quality is quite acceptable, though it helps to boost the contrast and colour saturation of your photos before loading, if you want really bright images, as there are no visual controls, just pic size mode, timer,forward, backward and pause.
Only drawback, it doesn't seem to want to read the new 30mb/s SD HC cards, only the slower SD/MMC cards, cheap as chips these days. >>More Details |

After reading another review here i got this pouch for my new fuji finepix F50fd and i'm very happy i did . It fits like a glove ( could have been made for it ) , gives good protection without adding a lot of size , the magnetic catch is good ( strong but not to strong ),Qaulity is very high , good leather and very well made . At £12.99 it's well worth it . i'm very happy with it .. 5 STARS

You used to get a case with IXUS cameras, but I have just bought a new 85IS without one in the box. This case is perfect for my camera, a real Canon case that fits my camera as well as you would expect.
I had my doubts about how it could be so much cheaper than sold in the shops, but I am absolutely delighted with my purchase. It doesn't say IXUS 85 IS on the advert, but it does on the packaging. It has to be 5 stars for price and for fit for my camera >>More Details |

Bought this after losing my Canon Ixus50 (5Mega-pixel). The camera is robust and has plenty of useful features - however the intelligent mode select and anti-shake are not great. I did get better results from my Canon. However at the price its good value. Takes SD cards which are cheap and easy to plug into most laptops and the battery lasts well. Prefer the Canons picture taking ability but a good cheap digital camera.

I got this camera for Christmas and loved everything about it...got some quality macro shots and fits in your pocket nicely so good to take everywhere.
Sadly after 6 months the dial wouldn't stick on video mode and amazon said they couldn't replace as they had none in stock (although it showed stock online just at twice the price) and couldn't repair it. I now regret not taking it elsewhere to get it fixed as it is a great camera apart from that 1 issue...I'm now trying to find it for a reasonable price elsewhere. >>More Details |

I got camera pouch free with my purchase of canon ixus 960is digital camera, and i got to say, i think this prodct is excellent, my camera fits nice and snugly into the pouch, the pouch is well made and doesnt feel cheap, all in all five stars, i 'm very pleased with it!!
