Someone who likes a horror/thriller storys should read the book. Greg was a little weird, his personality changes thoughout the story. This book was a really good book.

The Book is exactly what I expected it to be. Specific information about cheese's of the world and a description of how they're made, what they taste like, and what foods they best accompany. I now bring it with me to cheese stores so that if I see something I think I would like, I look it up and make the decision as to whether I buy it or not.

My only complaint is that I think the price is high for a book that can be read in an afternoon. The story, however, is very interesting. You can even get a little excited reading this book but, no, it will not be the same as rollercoaster rides in Harry Potter.
This book makes a good point and in a very good way. You can't read this book and feel the same about change. You will look at change differently and be able to handle it better.

My mother first read this book to me when I was a child and I read it to my little brother later. I bought a copy for myself as an adult and have had great fun sharing with all of the children in my life. The story is a cautionary tale about the law of unintended consequences and the need to work out your differences. The best thing about the book is the hilarious illustrations. My children, my husband and I would sit together, making the animal noises and enjoying every part of each picture. (My personal fav is the elephant grabbing the startled king while he talks to his wise men.) A great book for your family!

If you read this when you are hungry, you might head straight to the refrigerator, market, or nearest deli.
This book was wonderful...a mysterious woman comes to Pickax. Qwill hears rumors everywhere about her. Koko wants to go for a drive to the cabin on the lake. Guess who is sitting by the cabin reading a cookbook? Yes! the mysterious woman. She agrees to cook stuffed wild grape leaves for Qwill. He heads to the market to shop for ingredients and hears an explosion! Upon returning to the cabin, Qwill finds the woman missing the middle of preparing the wild grape leaves.
Much excitement, danger, an mystery is to follow. Of course, Koko knows everything. It is too bad Qwill doesn't speak fluent cat. He would get to the bottom of the ... Read More:

I really am not sure what I was looking for from this book, but I didn't find it. I guess I was looking for a book to give me a full spectrum view of fine cheeses (I don't have any fine cheese experience). Max certainly goes over the entire spectrum of cheeses, however his seriousness and dedication to cheese gets in the way from being able to communicate with a cheese amature like myself. Overall, the book had too much detail and although I wanted to learn about cheese, the book couldn't hold me attention and I didn't get me the education I was looking for.
