I bought this cup four months ago. It worked great, the coffee stayed hot, and only occasionally would it leak. But the lid would get stuck from time to time, until it broke in half, making the cup unusable.

I bought this cup after working as a chemist in a lab. There, I learned how much plastic can slough off containers and cups, especially at high temperatures. Even though no links have been made between ingesting most plastics at small doses and health, I'd rather not ingest it. The cup is ceramic, a material that does not slough off. The lid is made of silicone, the same thing that covers baby spoons.
Unlike the previous reviewer, my cup has a hole on the lid through which you can drink (although it's more convenient to drink without the lid). I addition, it can contain 12 ounces- the same size as a Tall cup at Starbucks. So go ahead and ask the barista there to make your drink in it. >>More Details |

I love everything about this Lenox pattern, the color is a soft white which actually matches my regular dishes,Mikasa Antique White. Since my dishes are very plain I like to cheer up the table with Lenox Butterfly and they coordinate very well; for me all Butterflys would be too much, I like to keep things simple. I have used this so many times already. I made Mexican last night and had tomatoes, olives, and lettuce all neatedly divided! I used it at a shower with vegggies all divided. It is perfect tfor kids who don't want "stuff" mixed up!

I bought this set for the design, but I ended up liking it more for the overall shape of the plates. The plates (especially the smaller plates) have "upturned" edges, making it function more like a bowl. This is a great feature for kids who seems to have issues keeping their food on their plates while pushing it around! Also a benefit if you are eating something a little "juicy."

The Peugeot pepper and salt mills have a beautiful gloss finish that is a rich none yellow mustardy color, they call this curry. The color in the picture does not do these mills justice. The mills themselves are about 22 cm tall or 8.75 inches tall the metal knobs are not a significant part of the height, being that they blend in so well with the contours of the mill, but they are part of this measurement. They measure about 19 cm/ 7.5 inches around at the base our 5.5 cm from edge to edge, the diameter.
