This wine opener is extremely easy to use. It looks ok to set out on the counter all the time, so it's convenient and much harder to lose than regular wine openers! Sometimes doesn't work on plastic corks, but that doesn't detract from the usefulness. I highly recommend it!

If you are looking at these reviews, you are probably thinking one thing: Does it really work? If you own the "Vinturi Essential Wine Aerator" you are also thinking one thing: Yes it does.
Seriously, this thing is awesome. Like most folks, I was skeptical until I tried it. All the good reviews convinced me to give it a try, but until I put wine to mouth I still didn't quite believe it would work. My wife and I started out with a blind taste test. Two glasses, one aerated and one not, and the better tasting wine was the aerated one every time. It is a dramatic difference.
If your preference is for the top shelf or the bottom, or somewhere in-between, once you try a glass that has been passed through the aerator ... Read More:

I love a glass of good wine with dinner... OK, sometimes two. Much to my doctor's relief, I don't drink a whole bottle at one sitting. To save the leftover wine, I use the Vacu-vin system. It's extremely affordable, the toppers are reusable, and it's much more convenient than some of the higher priced vacuum systems (or the nitrogen spray). Plus it's a fun workout pumping out the air! Make sure you get the pump, too.

This is very easy to use and doesn't chew up the cork as much as my old manual corkscrew. It looks nice on the countertop, though I don't think much of the glowing red light at the top, indicating it is charging; it makes me feel like it's using electricity unnecessarily to make that light glow 24/7. I think this would make a great gift for that person who has everything and loves gadgets.

I'd give zero stars if it was an option. Don't waste your time on this company.
My first Rabbit had a plastic handle. When it broke after several years of use, I replaced it with a metal handle Rabbit because it had 10-year warrantee. (I think the first one had a 2-year warrantee.)
The new Rabbit malfunctioned. A mission-critical piece of rubber tore, making the Rabbit useless. I sent the Rabbit to Metrokane per the package instructions. (I paid the postage and also had to enclose a check to cover *their* mailing costs.)
A week or so later, my Rabbit was returned to me without any repairs. Their note said that they couldn't find anything wrong with the thing. I phoned Metrokane to complain. ... Read More:
