I enjoy having a glass or two of wine with dinner but, if I'm by myself, it's impossible because I can't finish a bottle alone (nor do I want to) and opened wine goes bad really quickly. The reason it goes bad has to do with the oxygen in the air. With the Vacu-vin pump I can remove the air from the bottle, and now an opened wine lasts me for about a week without refrigeration. Also, when you can't pump anymore air out of the bottle, the pump starts to click, indicating that you can stop pumping. I'm very happy with this product.

This knife is very sharp and comfortable to use. The handle doesn't seem to be the fibrox like the 8" chef's knife, it has a little less "grip" to it, but it shouldn't be a problem even if your hands are a little wet. For $5, I'd definitely recommend this knife. As someone who enjoys cooking, but doesn't want to spend a fortune on her hobby, this line of knives is perfect. They are so much sharper and thinner (but not flimsy) than others I have bought which makes kitchen tasks a breeze. It really makes me want to cook more when I have tools like this that work so well.

I bought this amazing flowering tea set for my child's teacher as a holiday gift. The kids are all so amazed with the tea flower blooming and the flavor that they are now having flowering tea day at school. I'm going to get some great video and post a video review.

I usually do my research before buying, and to do this I read the worst reviews. Had I done this in this case I never would have purchased the stuffer.
As many have said, the biggest problem is with the plunger which is not wide enough to fit the chute. Meat squishes up on the sides and sticks to it. The result is overworking & heating the meat which is bad. Unlike others, I had no problem getting the casings on or with them ripping. I'm glad the stuffer tubes are only a cheap add-on for the grinder so there's not too much down the tubes. The grinder works fantastically. >>More Details |

I was so excited about trying this ice cream maker as I had read the reviews. I followed the directions exactly and when I went to freeze the mixture it never even started to thicken. I even tried running it a little longer. I used the recipe that came with the machine.

I absolutely LOVE this knife. I now use chopping therapy as a daily calming activity. I realize that sounds a little crazy, but I'm serious that cutting/chopping is now so easy it's not a chore. It's just the right length and just heavy enough to get the job done, but doesn't fatigue your hand/arm.

I have owned a $100.00 Juice Man juicer for a year and it finally stopped working. It was hard to clean. I juice every morning and alternate between Fruit (apples, pears, pineapple, oranges and limes) and vegetables (plum tomatoes, celery, carrots, jalapeno, cilantro). The carrot residue is exceedingly difficult to remove from the basket and the tomato seeds get stuck between the cutting blades. The brush is cheap and slowly lost about half of the bristles over the year. When it quit, I fell for the TV hype and bought a Jack Lalanne Power Juicer Pro. What a piece of junk! At least the Juice Man has a good positive locking bar. The J.L Power Juicer has plastic grommets on top of the locking bar and a plastic cover which does not provide a good lock. Poor ... Read More:

I am so happy with these knives. They are strong sharp and heavy. They cut so well and are so nice looking sitting on my counter. I have had people go right to them and comment. I love to cook and most of what I cook is from scratch. SO I have people over often and these are exactly what I needed to add to my work space. The one thing I always do with knives and will always do is right after use I wash and dry them and repalce them back into there slot. If you ever notice on the cooking shows the chefs always wipe there knives off straight away after use on there apron. I would hate to have mine rust becasue I did not take care of them right. I bought this cup after working as a chemist in a lab. There, I learned how much plastic can slough off containers and cups, especially at high temperatures. Even though no links have been made between ingesting most plastics at small doses and health, I'd rather not ingest it. The cup is ceramic, a material that does not slough off. The lid is made of silicone, the same thing that covers baby spoons.
Unlike the previous reviewer, my cup has a hole on the lid through which you can drink (although it's more convenient to drink without the lid). I addition, it can contain 12 ounces- the same size as a Tall cup at Starbucks. So go ahead and ask the barista there to make your drink in it. >>More Details |
