This is what we were looking for. With the fan it dries so much faster than the older styles. We also purchased some extra trays to do more at one time. The only thing I can see to improve would be an on/off switch on the lid with the heat controls. Don't like having to unplug from the wall to check the progress of the food.

At first I was so impressed with this item, found in walmart for 4$, I love soft boiled eggs but it always is a hassle for me to cook them the way I like, so this one worked fine in my microwave, then we moved and sold everything, started looking for another one, found it in walmart for 7$, the construction was bad (aluminum parts came off), but I kept it ( didn't know that there are better ones in the market), also even with practice I am still unable to control the softness with my different micorwave, the time, after how long to cool them, it is hectic, they never come the same everytime, also the risk of burning your hands with the spell ( especially with high microwave), the only good thing about it is the very cheap price, but I will pay ... This appliance will cook a (12"-13") pizza to perfection. You can cook a frozen pizza to an impressive result. If you defrost the pie completely (near-room-temperature) you will get a perfectly browned pizza. I can't say enough good things about this device. I hope they make a larger version, but for now this is a single-purpose device that works well.

The blade does not fit the bowl as tightly as I thought it would but it is better than the blade that comes with the mixer for mixing of small amounts. All in all, I am glad that I bought it.

This is the first burr type grinder we have owned. Our old blade grinder finally broke so I bought one for my husband's birthday based on the reviews here and elsewhere. He uses it for a french press. I actually had stopped grinding my own coffee because I could never get it fine enough for my small espresso machine. I have been having it ground at the store where I buy my espresso beans, therefore having to grind a a lot at one time and not having it freshly ground every day which is better for freshness.

I didn't mind the taste at all, but the aroma I found to be terrible. It was a very fake smell, and it would linger in my kitchen or office if I didn't immediately rinse my mug out. I won't be ordering this one again, just because of that smell.

To be honest, I have not gotten anywhere near opening my filters. The AeroPress comes with filters, and they last a crazy long time. I rinse and reuse the filters, and have used one for several weeks now. At this rate, I will probably be dead before I need the filters.
These are the same as come with the AeroPress, and they are high quality. The thickness means that the final coffee is very grit free and the filter is strong enough to be reused. I love the product. >>More Details |
