OMG - nice bench but where they really outdo themselves is in creating the least helpful assembly instructions ever. Why bother? Save the trees and just stamp "U Figure it Out" on the box in Engl/Span./French.

I love my Yamaha FC4 foot pedal. I use it with my DGX-620. I have it alongside an FC5 foot switch, and believe me, the two of them just don't complement each other.
I have used this pedal with my other keyboards, and found that it really replicates the functionality of a real piano pedal. If I had my way, I'd get rid of the FC5 and upgrade it to another FC4.
If you have a keyboard that supports a pedal, this is the pedal you need.

Let me first start by saying the stand was indeed a pain to put together...It didn't take me too long though (35 minutes or so), but like the other reviewers said, the directions arent the clearest, and you do have to stare at the picture...intently...to figure it out...but it is defiantely do-able. As far as the quality of the stand goes, IT'S EXCELLENT!!! The stand is extremely sturdy; I've had it for about 2 months now with no problem. Yamaha did a fine job on this stand. It's a little bit different than the one pictured in that the upper part of the stand has little extensions to hold the keyboard in place.
This is a good quality stand. For me, it's much better than the one it replaces. I would recommend it.
I have reservations about the mental stability of the individual who left a one star review for this product.

I bought this keyboard for my kids. I am absolutely satisfied. It has more features I originally thought of. The method to practice is very intuitive. The sampled instruments sound great. This instrument is worth every dollar.

I'm 24, learning to play the piano. I wanted a keyboard that had touch-sensitive keys (louder when you hit them harder)... that was my main requirement.
After looking at a few keyboards and messing around with a few demos on display, I purchased this one. The price was less than most keyboards that have these features, and the quality of the keys is actually better than more expensive keyboards I looked at.
I can't comment on the recording/playback and lessons etc, but I can say that the sound quality is surprisingly good, the voices, styles and other interesting options are all top notch as far as I can tell.
If I had to make a complaint about the keyboard, it's only this: there is a very slight hiss from the ... Read More:
