This is a great broom. Throw on your googles and dust mask 'cause this thing will make everything fly...in a good way. I'm not trying to be sarcastic. Seriously, it will stir up a lot of dust which is what it is supposed to do.
I live in the Chicago area. We get about half a dozen really hard snows a year. Light snows in between. I'm in my thirties. I can clear our sidewalk and one car drive with a shovel in about 15 minutes. So, I don't use this for that. Maybe snow in Chicago is too wet, but when we do get 2"-4" I tried this several times and it is just worthless! It throws the snow in its own path creating its own problems.

Great way to get snow off the car with worrying about scratching the finish. Simply push the snow off. Takes off large amount of snow at once without having to go over the same spot over and over again. Love it.

Had one of these for many years. A pleasure to use as it moves large amounts of snow with minimal effort. Unfortunately it went missing last winter.
Came to Amazon to order a replacement today. I was amazed to find that they are unwilling to ship to Alaska. Apparently our reputation for such a moderate and tropical climate has convinced them we could not possibly need an item such as this.
As my family is slowly buried in snow this winter I will be sure to remind them that Amazon knows best.

Classic Accessories 71367 Deluxe Snow Thrower Cab After reading the directions, I carefully laid out the parts. Than started assembly according to directions, all went very well. I was finished in about 2 hours. The Cab was a little tight, but after reading the reviews before starting, I left the Cab in the house to warm up. I am sure this helped considerably, I am very satisfied.

I have an extremely long and steep driveway -- so steep that the plow attachment on my lawn tractor is useless (once I plow down the driveway, I can't get the tractor back up, since the tractor plow leaves a thin layer of snow, which the tractor can't overcome even with wheel weights and chains). So two seasons ago I bought one of these, and found that I could clear the driveway more quickly and effectively than with my tractor! It worked so well for the past two years that I decided to buy a second one. Next season my wife will be able to help and the job will go even faster.
Not everyone likes plastic blades, but I prefer them. I find that metal blades "catch" on my driveway as I shovel/plow, while plastic does the job much more smoothly, ... Read More:

I have one of these and find it a perfect compromise between utility, size, and storage needs for the car. Note that while the description says it extends for long reach, that's still only about 3 feet. That's just fine for taking along in your car for the occasional dig-out, but you'll get tired of using really quickly if you are thinking of using it for your front walk!
The push-button mechanism for the handle extension is easy to use, the blade and handle are strong, and the extension of the handle into the blade ensures long-life, unlike some models that are pinned into a short socket only. You want stainless steel, as in this shovel, when you are storing a shovel in your car - you don't want it rusting in your trunk, staining everything ... Read More:

I haven't had to turn these on yet but have a similar cable over our garage that has worked well since we moved in 4 years ago. However the clips that attach to the shingles do not hold and the cable migrated to the gutter. Having just installed addition cable on my and neighbors roofs I used silicone and nails through the clip to secure it. We'll see how it holds this winter.

This product works well, I purchased it for snow removal of our cabin roof and found it to be a little flimsy when all the poles are attatched, but works well and gets the job done.

I bought this after our first big snowfall in December (07). Our gas blower crapped out on us last winter. In Wisconsin, we had our second highest total December snowfall on record. January is now over and so far we have had a ludicrous amount of snow. So my Snow Fox has been used extensively already. I would say a 4.5 star rating is more accurate. But you can't select a half star. We have an average size Madison city driveway and sidewalk. For snow 2" to 6", using the Snow Fox makes far more sense then using a gas blower. For 6" to 12" it still does a fine job. It's light enough to easily push with one hand. The other hand guides the extension cord. It clears the snow just as fast as a single stage gas blower. Mine hangs on a hook on the garage wall ... Read More:
